Mera ek sawaal hai. Kal IF par ek article post hua hai..about Murder of Manisha Koirala’s secretary decades ago. It mentions how entire BW was scared and functioned under fear. We know the kind of movies made during that era..even recently in a seemingly well intentioned movie like Sitaare Zameen par we had this subtle propaganda.

But how come not one of the propaganda criers of this forum have made a single post about the article? No comments at all about years of propaganda..subtle or blatant

People r asking..thats the reason BW is at this stage right now..where all propaganda films r failing. For eg. I loved the concept of Sitaare Zameen par. Its core msg was to bring awareness about people with Special needs. Did it need other forcibly inserted propaganda? The scene where the team is travelling by flight and two nuns sitting beside them talk to them n bless them. If it was a religious person in saffron robes liberals would’ve cried propaganda. A special needs person with a muslim name is shown to be exploited and humiliated by his boss. There r references to all religions in a positive tone except one. And the love angle of Aamir’s mom. Was that needed?? An aged lonely lady found love again. No issues with that. But this was not the right movie to insert this concept
