Entire serial is totally regressive which shows how a woman ( human being )can totally loose " self respect, thoughtfulness, commonsense , own rights and pride " after being subjected to " multiple round of humiliation " by life partner still continue loving him.

This show portrays a woman who is a lawyer, whose ambition was to be a supreme Court lawyer being a " joke " ,troll worthy material ....In current times is this serial hold any value ???? 🙄 nothing at all

Modern day shitty television shows aren’t the holy grail. They trivialise traditions and culture for their own drama quotient/TRP nonsense.

I think you are referring to paadh puja?

It absolutely does not mean that a father considers his daughter a burden. There is a simple idea behind this. Every son-in-law is equated to Mahadev/maybe even Narayan and is given due honour as such.

But do you know why this is done? It is because the father hopes that his son-in-law will treat his daughter—the apple of his eye—with the same respect he himself is being shown. In other words, he believes his son-in-law will extend the same courtesy to his daughter and treat her like Lakshmi—the queen of his home—as she deserves to be.

How is that regressive?
