Pitch report by Daren Ganga: One square boundary bigger than the other. Because of the weather and the covers, there will be moisture on the surface and the outfield. It's a red-soil pitch, expect more pace and bounce. It'll be evenly paced as there is green and brown on the surface. Curators and team have an exceedingly good job. Seamers might get more help, you'd definitely want to chase.

Toss time. Riyan Parag and Ruturaj Gaikwad are out. Parag spins the coin, tails is the call. It's heads, RR bowl first

RR won the toss and will bowl first.

RR won the toss and chose to bowl first.

YAY FINALLY GOT TOSS PTS

RR chose to field

Parag: There's rain. There'll be rain even though it's a red-soil pitch. Captaincy feels nice, seeing the transition from a 17-year old to now, my peers have been supportive. Goal is to win the championship. We've tried to have smart cricketers, allrounders with the auction and the trades. Burger, Archer, Ferreira and Hetmyer are our overseas players

This year diff s Hetmeyer is in prime form.....
