I have never been on the edge of my seat like this, as someone tweeted recliner book karne ka faayda nahin hua...mera bhi wohi haal tha in the film especially this scene!!!

- Ranveer rage acting and then being devastated after aalam takes the blame

- his 2 scenes with yalina - confrontation and the final phone call

- in the final chapter when he smiles through the bloody face when he’s getting tortured and Maddy calls …and he instantly replies uzair when the guy asks “but everyone already knows we caught a spy now what do we do” 😂…even with jameel he’s like partially smiling and laughing even though he’s physically destroyed …those expressions we’re so well done …

The first 10 -15 mnts were one of the best cinematic moments which instantly elevated the entire movie to another level...

Talking about the final chapter, when Hamza heckles at Iqbal with 'mere ghante ka ---'...My entire theater erupted with laughter though we were in the midst of a very serious scene...

But poor Uzair....till the end he didn't know what was going on around him...smiley36

Lol....he was looking so handsome here...I just can't...smiley42

If only Arjun Rampal was giving better reactions than just simply standing there and looking on...this is where his acting chops got exposed...smiley18

Arjun is a good actor but they watered his char down so much man :..he was terrifying in the first part …and to think he comes back home to his bickering dad it just kills his aura tbh ….they shouldn’t have tried to give nuance to his char and just kept him “evil guy” would have been menacing then…

Also would have been cool if there were a couple of near misses between him and ranveer (like him being onto ranveer or ranveer almost losing his cover to him. I wish he was suspicious instead of Sanjay dutt) that would have made his char more menacing I think

I get that they were trying to bring a perspective tha he was raised with hate and toxicity and well that’s how hes turn out that way…but his dad trolling him at every opportunity kinda mellowed out his character….it never seemed like he was a real threat to Hamza in the second part …just another villain to deal with

Firstly everything aside

Ranveer's body is tea, especially biceps 💪smiley42

Now, coming to the movie, I really liked it.

Both parts are great, but I liked Part 2 as it was more about Hamza. But unlike Part 1, the songs don't strike you at the start, but in the movie sit well and grow on you.

Ghar ki yaad nahi aati tujhe Jassi, by god it was goosebumps, the perfect interval.

Everything was good, I just thought Hamza v Iqbal could have been shortened, honestly, just my views, their fight just went on and on.

Also, they have made the movie inspired by true events, but they never said it is a biopic or anything. Raazi, which literally was based on a book, didn't show the real story, yeh toh phir bhi just inspired from events thi, so obviously they had creative liberty to change things.

Timeline of a few characters may not be correct, but most of the characters are true, if we actually go through the news etc.

Now coming to the so called propaganda, I swear before going to watch the movie, I thought Modiji ke taarefo ke pool bandhe honge, but it was not even for 5 mins.

It talked about demonetization, which was a fact that came due to a lot of fake currencies coming to India from Pakistan. It never claimed now it is 0, but at that time, a Paki who was doing fake currency ka buisnees did committed suicide.

Also Pakis hate Modi, that is true. Their politicians who hype Congress and Rahul.

Hafeez Saeed literally spoke in defense of Barkha Dutt and also talked about how Congress is nice for calling out the BJP for their anti-Pak stance.

Former cabinet minister and Rajya Sabha MP Mani Shankar Aiyar (Congress) was the one who started calling Modi Chaiwala, and also said, "Remove Modi and get us back to resume dialogue." That too on Pakistan ka news channel in 2015.

So aisa nahi hain hawa mein bana di hain movie, it is just time lines correct nahi hain, as Iqbal kaafi pehle mar chuka tha, but that is their creative freedom.

Also they didn't show past governments bad, Major Iqbal was literally insulting his dad for losing to India and getting Pakistan divided into 2 parts, the another Spy was in Pakistan for 45 years.

It is just that they showed Manmohan Govt was bad, and it is true, they literally haven't done great things to get hyped for. Hamid Ansari, who was elected twice by the Manmohan Government as our Vice-President, keeps saying nonsense against India and literally defends the Mughals.

Also, ironically, the people calling Dhurandhar propaganda are the same ones who hyped Raazi, Chak De India, and Haider, and call them masterpieces. They aren't actually against propaganda, they’re just upset because the old Bollywood narrative they loved is finally being challenged, and Indian audiences aren't buying it anymore.

Honestly

I feel I am the only hawsi person in theater because I go feral whenever that "King of lyari" scene comes on screen

The whole killing by unknown men was a filler. Hamza v/s iqbal was unrealistic and the whole climax 30mins was way too stretched. The d1 music was soo fab. But it was overall an entertaining watch definitely.

I actually liked Rampal's backstory

They didn't glorify him, he was a demented loser with everyone in house going through one mental health condition or another

That level of hated, if shown with aura would lead to his reels going viral amongst wrong group

People are already defending and glorifying Dawood Ibrahim

I am glad Major Iqbal was presented as a hateful loser that he was
