Ranveer Singh was always a good actor

he just needed a good script to succeeed

In 50s to 70s heroes were actors too

But after 90s only stars and heroes abound no actors

I mean a dilip kumar could o an emotional devdas love tragedy, or a comedy or an family drama or shakti kind of serious action movie and look that part

Dharmendra again could do action, family drama, historical and comedy too

Amitabh could do all three convincing

But after 80s and 90s no lead actor could do all 3 convincingly

anil kapoor and govinda were only 80s heroes who could do all 3 roles convincing

now do not tell me amir and salman can do action and comedy, amir does not look like action star when he punches no one will care and salman has no acting skills only mostly and srk well struck to love dramas for most of his career. also srk over acts and hams a lot sunny deol struck to action govinda to comedy in 90s

hrithik again can do very few roles convincing he over acts in koi mil gaya etc and ranbir kapoor he does same kind of daddy issue boy man roles again and again even animal was same repeat daddy issues boy man issues. Only barfi he did something diff there priyanka took the cake

Now Ranveer singh has come with lot era and gully boy serious art movie, padmavat and bajirao historical, dil dhadhak ne do and rocky and rani family movie and simba comedy
