Except for Islam, most of the religions in the world are either stagnant or shrinking.

Example being :- Christianity which is shrinking in today’s world due to various factors and Islam is spreading because of population increase due to higher fertility rate, conversion, geopolitical concentration to name a few.

So, in this scenario, what do you suggest US should do?

Instead of dealing in hypotheticals, let’s take one step at a time. Let’s solve for eliminating Islamic terrorism and extremism.

This isn’t a hypothetical situation.

This is actually a very real situation.

@yes this is imperative for the well being of the society as a whole.

Genuine question:- Terrorism is understandable and is a major concern (Islamic terrorism because we see most of them to be followers of Islam).

But why Islamic extremism?

We have extremism in other religions as well.

They aren’t conducting terrorist activities, but extremism for any religion shouldn’t be tolerated know?

Its true, i completely agree with you. The congress era in which i grew up still feels like the best to me. Whether it was movies, tv shows or music, everything had a different charm and i still remember those times very fondly. Tv was at its peak when star one existed and bollywood also gave some really wonderful movies back in the day (2006-2012)

But nowdays i have came across some shocking eye opening truths exposing bollywood's subtle propaganda, the way they were slowly influencing us, something we didnt really notice back then. Now that more people are discussing and analyzing it, it feels like we are seeing things from a new angle. At the same time, its a bit painful, because it changes how we look back at something we genuinely enjoyed and felt connected to.

I may not explicitly call out the extrocities, but I am in no way a supporter where humanity suffers in any form.

I have always maintained that humanity is above all and of utmost importance for the well being of a society and a nation as a whole.

How are you proposing to solve for this humanity ?

Just sit back, let the Islamic extremists and terrorists keep killing anyone and everyone they can and sit back and watch ? Or one can be real and understand that while no one likes wars, it takes hard decisions to take steps to eliminate them.

I am not in a camp to sit back relax and enjoy while I see this play out. One side cannot fight a holy war with a purpose of killing anyone that doesn’t practise their faith. In fact I know humanity is the one that benefits the most from the actions in Iran, Gaza and hopefully Pakistan and Bangladesh to follow amongst some others. As the saying goes “for the greater good”

In management school they speak about ABC analysis.

One should spend maximum time on the biggest problem. When Islamic terrorist/extremist regimes are 99% of the problem, that is where the maximum amount of time is spent. It doesn’t mean other problems are not looked into but what will appear and make headlines are the bigger ones.

If you do a google search you will see that just this week a US citizen and 6 Ukrainians were caught by Indian authorities engaged in terrorism. So that work is also happening.

There always is also something positive when negativity happens/happened

That SRK movie where the parents are Hindu and the little girl offers Islamic prayers has gone viral on X. Many others. Urduwood used sublime messaging extremely well. Some others are viral as well where even real life characters were changed from Hindu to Muslim (chak de) and what not

That is why I like how we have woken up to propoganda of urduwood and other things since so many decades. I too was not aware of all this in the slightest bit.

I also loved the video I came across on Islamophobia. Some geniuses far more intelligent than me saw this coming more than a decade ago and I was not even aware.

That is why you see me being vocal as I have seen the same effort of silencing me with so many different labels. The most recent accusation being the tone of the place changed once I was onboarded. It made me feel special and like a celebrity to have so much influence. I am Charlie Hebdo has a whole new meaning for me with that and I pray he is smiling down on me from the heavens
