You can dislike violence - who is arguing with you. there are lots of BW movies with lots of violence.

Any reader can see why the meltdown is happening with a certain ecosystem. It happened with part 1 and happening with part 2.

It is the same playbook used for aloo vis a vis Deepika. They will try to attach RK to Ranveer at ,every opportunity they get. Those paid samosas are begging every director on twitter to cast RS and RK together in a film. They use the standard handout animal photo..to say.

I have not seen Animal and from anyone I know, I was told to stay far away.

Even if I had seen it, I can say this with certainty. There has never been a movie like Dhurandhar. So why even compare. Even RGV and Rakesh Roshan have said along with so many others.

If Ranbir and Ranveer appear in a movie together, what problem can I have ?

If there is a certain segment that can’t see and celebrate the success of Ranveer and Dhurandhar, that’s their problem and their meltdown and hence the thread.

Completely agree on the extreme violence part.

I am a huge Ranveer fan - find him very charming and energetic, he resembles an early in career Shahrukh in many ways. But cannot watch this movie due to the amount of blood and gore strongly hinted and shown in the trailer. It is as if violence is one of the usp of the movie and a tool to engage the viewers.

I was just informed of a thread she made about the movie before even watching it.

However I don’t care to troll and anyone can have an opinion. I can disagree respectfully with her as I told her earlier

There is a whole series of John Wick movies that are box office blockbusters with cult following and non stop violence as you say.

For me Dhurandhar isn’t about violence. The movie works on every level.

I am not disputing you at all - i am pretty sure dhurandhar 2 is as awesome as everyone says it is. In fact, at this particular moment, my husband is in a different room planning his dhurandhar movie trip with his friends. But also saying that the violence is very uncomfortable to watch for some people including me.
