Episode update

DK writes D on Mannats hand to counter Mallas attempt to humiliate Mannat. When Mannat refuses Vik thinks she may not be okay with writing someone elses name on her hand.

Mannat goes into initial shock, Vik averts his eyes seeing the D. Till DK clarifies D is for Dua. I believe Vik heard it since he looks back at Mannat again. Malla feels defeated.

Dua manages to install the camera. DK has taught her to pick locks as an emergency measure. Sounds good in theory but well 🤭

DK is doodling mehendi on Mannats hand and she is relaxed, distracted from Malla Ys song and dance. Vik is completely affected by DM fun. Goes away to another space to decompress. Has a K3G moment with Neetu till Dua falls down and starts crying.

The scene was adorable 🥰🥰🥰. Tiny Dua in Viks arms hanging on him like a baby monkey and him consoling her in the softest way possible. Neetu gets emotional and decides her target is to remove DKs claim on Dua.

Mannat sees this too and gets super emotional... this is her happy family... one she wanted. Wipes her tears which Neetu notices and realizes Mannat still loves Vik.

Mamnat just stands there observing Baap beti till DK comes and snatches Dua from Vik. Quite crudely.

Vik doesnt understand but Mannat thanks him and leaves.

Back in outhouse, Dua informs Mannat that the camera is in place. Mannat scolds DK but Dua takes his side. Praises the skills he taught her. DK is emotional now. Declares they are the best team and when Dua says main apne baba ki Dua hun is when Mannat gets affected.

The slight shaking of head by Ayesha rejecting that statement was so well done.

An answer to all who thought Mannat will prefer DK over Vik. Mannat doesnt... for the first time I saw a guilt in her about DK being Duas baba. 🙄

Understandable as she sees the genuine bond between Dua and Vik... one she thought he had rejected pre leap. But in her heart and her body, she had always carried a piece of Vikrant...💔

Anyway... DK I felt was relieved thinking Dua may never choose Vik over him and that was his happiness in the scene.

Precap is drunk Mannat having fun and declaring to Vik how much she missed him.

Mannat is ignoring Viks Holi confession and Vik is ignoring Mannats visible pain in her eyes. Slim hope that Mannats drunken confession makes Vik think differently about her.

Neetu is fixated that she will break Viks marriage... doesn't even want to know who he is getting married to 🤣

Aaj Neetu ko dekh ke doubt aaya ki shayad SM main nayi naukarani aaye iss baar. Someone who knows every nook and corner and every resident 😅

Aww sweet of you , yes all’s well thank you, but have been tied up and not much energy to engage on the forum during this past month of Ramadan, which flew past and alhamdulillah celebrated Eid today (Friday) here . I think in India Eid will be celebrated tomorrow.

Hope you are well too, and glad to see you’re surviving #mannatland even if only on bts and updates 😵‍💫

Have been watching the episodes during the month and my resolve to keep away from negativity was sorely dinged by Mukta’s version of entertainment.
