It's entirely changed the mindset of two individuals. Probably, Mihir git an opportunity to confess the truth, put his heart out, his self realization, his admiration, his love and respect for the woman he deserves. Often we fail to do so, especially men, pay less attention to these small gestures towards their wives. Mihir has to acknowledge after all he is blessed with the priceless diamond in the form of wife.

Right! So well understood- that title just came to me after I finished writing the chapter.. it’s changed nazariya for everyone. If you remember in the first chapter tulsi said - pyaar kaafi nahi, izzat bhi chahiye - that’s exactly how Mihir is operating now- they both know they love each other in spite of everything! It’s respect and trust that Mihir needs to work on.

Similarly, Tulsi underestimated him on personal issues, not because she hates him or angry with him, but his personality over the years had made her be judgemental on this issue.

Exactly she’s seen his lapses in judgement in personal life over the years- mandira, the his mistakes about kids marriages, Noina .. so many lapses.

However, the thick wall has now broken, probably they both resolve the issues by simple gestures. I do not think, Tulsi will like Mihir hiding himself out of shame, she never wanted this from him, neither she ever thought of it. All she wants is Mihir to hold his head high and be the man-who has guts to completely aceept his faults infront of the world, he need not have to prove anything to anyone.

Tulsi needs just more push to take that tiny step towards him

I know Tulsi admires Mihir in lot many ways, and she never had doubts on many of his abilities, but this change -keeping your manly ego aside, appreciating someone who really deserves, and crediting it, something new.

Yes she’s aware of the awesome person he is but she also can’t forget he failed her miserably, betrayed her not just once but twice with the second time being at that age!

Sure they will talk about all these when things get right between them...

whatever they wrote for tulsi- she controlled the husband, made him namard, she came back for her selfish reasons- kinda what mihir did. mihir had all the power. he was the one who had affair, he had the entire family for whom tulsi had to return, he had shantiniketan and baa's place. tulsi would forever be linked with the family through mihir. hes always in that higher place

Absolutely correct. The woman may do anything- give her whole life for the family but the house is man’s, the relationships of the woman are through man.

and i liked tulsi's anger and the thoughtful side that maybe she was selfish using bandhej and virani industry. but that was mihir too. virani needed bandhej and vice versa. there is no using or taking advantage as pointed out by mihir in interview

In fact, that factory was closed until tulsi brought bandhej work there. But the media is such that if he gives more info than needed, they’ll twist that too - and to correct that, more will need to be divulged- a vicious circle

for a woman scorned for the second time, tulsi is remarkably restrained. she didnt scream shout , didnt ask for money. walked away, came back when she wanted, in her own rules and terms. it had to hurt world seeing this silence which was her way to protect herself, and showed how cold she is. bechara mihir whos tortured by his estranged wife. poor mihir. the anger was so good.

Media just wants masala.. and somehow a man tortured by his wife - that narrative brings in the moolah so!

also the double standards for wives- tulsi is here, in the family, bt she dont contribute financially as per gossips. tulsi isnt giving wifely rights to mihir- what rights? is it sex? why no one asked the shady timeline of tulsi leaving and noyona entering SN? all fine for men. the moment women did something to protect herself, its bechara mard.

Hey I was waiting for someone to point this out - Noina entering SN as soon as Tulsi left - and no one says anything about this. What you wrote here reminded me of a few lines from Sadhna:

Aurat ne janam diya mardon ko, mardon ne use bazaar diya

Jab jee chaaha masla kuchla, jab jee chaaha dhutkaar diya

These lines specifically:

Mardon ke liye laakhon seje aurat ke liye bas ek Chita.

Mardon ke liye har aish rawa, aurat ke liye Rona bhi khata

that picture description of noyona mihir and tulsi and the divider in the pic was written beautifully. how tulsi sees her own unsmiling face and is like i behaved in that way, i wasnt cold- its sad. again everything is on the woman. woman has to smile , look stylish, 10 handed durga. man just has to show up. or else its bechara mard.

Exactly - the onus is always on woman - to keep her husband happy in every aspect! Media is very smart in selecting pics - they took the most flattering pic of noina and a pic of tulsi where she’s thoughtfully listening to something serious - that suits their narrative

i think tulsi had thought mihir is giving her space, and maybe there is no love. now that she knows mihir cares a lot, he defended her publically, wonder what she would do. she can be thankful, but should she? mihir did bare minimum. its something a decent person would do and he did. now what?

Love between them was never an a doubt - it’s Mihir’s inability to protect that love, to give tulsi the respect and trust she deserves - that’s the problem and the reason they are at this point

also, tulsi knows its mitali. i wonder if pari and ritik does too. tulsi needs to confront mitali and give her ansh treatment. bohut hua samman

Beautiful--- that's all I can say. The suspense the thrill... Both the chapters have an amazingly fulfilling read. I love love love ur version of Mihir --- You have made him a man worth rooting for and Tulsi... oh my... her dignified response is so heartwarming. You have left at a cliffhanger... Waiting for the next one.

You know inspite of Mihir's excellent interview, the thing that really touched me were the children shielding her. Those precious moments you captured of Angad, Rithik and Pari... sigh... I wish the makers atleast copy that... Just for once I would like to enjoy that on screen

Blaming tulsi and Noina is portrayed as a victim card who was thrown out even after giving her 6 years to Mihir..they even discuss why Mihir chose tulsi over Noina when noina is the most successful woman...glad that despite of all this tulsi is strong.

Hi everyone, can someone please help me with a dialogue of Mihir on Tulsi’s wrinkles - in the beginning of this season? Please help me out. If I try to find that episode now in the midst of writing the chapter- I will lose my chain of thought and the chapter will get further delayed!
