I don’t think they’re necessarily showing us that Tulsi will agree to her last wishes and give her consent to have it fulfilled. They’re simply showing us how some people can be on the verge of death and yet they can’t look beyond their obsession.

Noina will make her wish known, Tulsi will hear it but ultimately it’s about Mihir’s choice. We can’t say that Tulsi forced him and he was not allowed to have a choice of his own. Mihir made Tulsi feel like she was beneath Noina time and again; Noina maybe dying for real but it doesn’t mean that she can use the pretext of her eventual death to get her way in the end after everything.

Mihir can simply tell Tulsi - he can respect her choice to come back to SN as the mom of his kids, the woman who makes his house a home; he can even accept her decision to stay away from him in a different room as he’s hurt her terribly and so can’t expect his wife is back just because she returned. But just as she’s allowed her choices, her self respect and boundaries; so is he and she must respect those similarly.

Tulsi can’t both maintain her distance from Mihir by citing its about her dignity and then ask him to marry Noina as if she didn’t hurt his dignity, self respect too by doing what she did. Mihir clearly stated how the guilt of assuming that he had slept with her had been eating him up as he had wronged his wife again, he had likely taken advantage of a woman he called a friend who was as per his assumption in a vulnerable and very precarious state at that moment. He also said how he felt so much shame when he had to face himself and his kids as he was accused of doing something that he was never guilty of in the first place.

So if anything, Mihir should put his foot down here and tell Tulsi straight - he won’t force her to accept him as a husband again for the rest of their lives and he’ll happily adjust to their new circumstances and living arrangements as two parents and friends sharing a roof but he’s certainly not marrying a woman who caused him to feel such mortification at this stage of life in front of his kids, grandchildren and the rest of his family not to mention society at large. He’s not obligated to fulfil her last wishes and she can rot in hell or turn into a ghost for all he cares. He’s no sacrificial lamb to be slaughtered for her wishes as and when she pleases.

Last time around he was an absolute idiot to fall into her trap; this time around he would rather be a monster to deny a dying woman her last wish than be an idiot all over again.

The dining table scene, why is only Vrinda and Manjuri serving, why cant Pari help out? I can accept Shoba, Nandni sitting because they are older and have done their share of work. But both Vrinda and Manjuri serving Pari is kind of annoying. Isn't Pari supposed to have character growth, she doesnt know how to cook but she can still help out. The bahus still doing the work, whether its Tulsi, Vrinda or Manjuri despite having jobs, while the daughters just sit around?
