Actually both abhimanyu birla and abheera are same in this regard. Both lusty to such a great extent that it's easy for them to bear insults and still stick to their respective crushes.

Abhimanyu had no self respect because he was blinded by his lust for akshara , the same goes for abheera.

Infact sometimes abheera seems more like a daughter to abhimanyu than abhinav.

This Gen should’ve ended back in November. At least actors would be free from this toxic crap nor would the story have degraded this much.

Whatever abhinav was but he never seemed despo to be in someone else's life. Akshara and abhir wanted him in their life , although for selfish reasons but at the end they wanted to live with him so abhinav too stayed but with abhimanyu this man was constantly made aware that he wasn't desired but still chose to stick like gum to them. Even in the end he knew that akshara didn't love him , despite his mother's warning he still chose to be a spare option for akshara.

Atleast in abheera's case she is an orphan but abhimanyu had a whole family to guide, support him but still he was so lusty thar he left his family to be with akshara.
