Woman with a spine of steel. Takes guts to say that. How many from BW will ever be able to say this?

I lived in the US for four years, three under Obama and the last year under Trump. Trump is the reason we left, even though we still had another year left there. During that time, there was a clear rise in hate crimes against people of colour. If anyone has forgotten, one of the early victims was an Indian engineer who was mistaken for Middle Eastern (the 2017 Olathe shooting).
What really concerned me back then was how many Indians who supported Trump didn’t seem to realise that they (or their children) wouldn’t be immune in the coming years if a cult of white supremacy mixed with Christian nationalism kept growing.

It is sad how countries become new countries when their leaders are changed..sometimes i feel the system in gulf be it UAE, Bahrain, Saudi is better..dictatorship under the kings..at least your country does not feel alien to you one morning and a complete opposite to what it was just because someone else has started to lead it..at least there is a consistency

I think when it comes to foreign policy America was always problematic. It’s just that in the last few years it’s becoming more and more clear to everyone including a significant number of Americans themselves. Hopefully it’s a sign of good changes coming, sooner or later.
