@bold not true at all. Only the 20 30% liberals there are celebrating whereas the core shia population is mourning as he is their imam as well.

You can see the video of his funeral as well. Almost 13 to 14 lacs people were there. Iranian Shia population is hard-core followers of Shia Islam and they're truly shattered.

2 completely different views here..even if Iranians were not happy with the current regime , they wouldn't want usa as their puppet master...and first loyalty must be towards their own country in difficult times ..I didnt believe celebration videos ..there may be a section of population who wanted change but there must be several who did not ..n this crude way wont bring abt desired results..basically what they want is to suppress irans military power so that its no longer a threat..
