If Pakistan wins, NRR will decide whether New Zealand or Pakistan qualifies for the semi-final. However, if Sri Lanka wins, New Zealand will definitely qualify for the semi-final.

However here is a catch. Srilanka doesn't gain anything by winning but if they lose.by huge margin and Pakistan wins, they will host the Semi final
