In my opinion, Ekta ruined her own golden chance with KSBKBT 2 firstly, the child leap and giving them kids out of nowhere. The pre-leap phase easily could have completed atleast 500-600 episodes if all character stories were explored in the right depth. After leap Mihir-Vrinda was a major track but Mihir was shown accepting Vrinda way to fast. Noina can easily be dragged on for longer Ranvijay finding out her truth then blackmailing her but there is some hurry going on to finish all the tracks.

Finite series adamancy has ruined a chance this season could have easily completed hundreds of episodes if run as a normal daily soap. The show is so good I wanted to watch all character stories in more depth also much more then their current planned 300 episodes.

That is exactly my point they didn't really explore the characters at all made it a finite series then rushed into a child leap. If the show was run like any other normal daily soap without a time limit on it this could have been so good.

There is a lot of characters in this show which is why 200 episodes doesnt seem enough. If it was focused on just Tulsi and Mihir it would have gotten boring pretty quick. But they have many parallel storylines too like Angad-Vrinda, Pari with Ajay and Rannvijay, Gomzy, Karan-Nandini etc.

I was actually surprised when I realized this show finished 200 episodes. It seemed felt like 40-50 episodes.

My fav Karan is actually Karan V Grover. He has mostly interesting show selection, I especially like his Kahan Hum Kahan Tum and Rajnikant show. He also somehow has good chemistry with all the female lead he gets paired with. I find him underrated too. After KVG , I like KVB since his Shararat days.

He’s so underrated I forgot him entirely

But again I think he’s limited in range as an actor too. I mean I don’t remember seeing him pull off an antihero role or role with shades of grey. He’s like KSG in that sense.

Are you seeing in zee youtube channel or some other channel?

When I used to watch I just typed kkb s2 Prachi ranbir and that playlist used to come. The videos were marked as 1-200 400-500 etc

The finite series theory did work for her shows in terms of trp though. But I think what they could have done is just show pre-leap in all these episodes and then come back with a S2 and show the 6 yr leap phase.

I am saying if this was a normal tv soap with no time limit all the characters could have been explored in more depth, they would have gotten good trp same way as current and show would have gotten more episodes. The show would have done more good for Ekta and Balaji.

This is KSBKBT S2 rather then turning S2 into two different seasons they could have just ran it like any other normal TV soap and when the time came nothing else was left to show go for the child leap. There is no real need to complicate things when it isn't needed.

Yes the new gen has a lot of characters they could have shown so many stories without rushing everything. Their intially planned 160-170 or 300 episodes isn't enough to cover all these parallel storylines. They had the golden chance to do much more with the show and increased the number of episodes in their kitty but it was just wasted because they had this obsession to make it a finite series.
