Yeah but he has no rights on Dua whatsoever. He is at mercy of Mannat and vik to be able to get a place in Dua's life.

This brings me to other question. I didnt watch pre-leap much so bear with me. Didnt Mannat ask even once if it is OK for DK to invest his life in them? Did they show Mannat having those conversations? This is a morality question mostly. Why will Mannat obligate a man to stay with them without anything in return? Why should DK care of her and her daughter? Did the writers address this from Mannat's side?

So if Mannat and Vik patch up and become happy, who will carry the burden of DK's investment. One can say he volunteered :D. Then ManVik will be heavily indebted to him lifelong for sacrificing his prime youth and energy on something without expecting any returns. Suddenly I feel so sorry for him. Knowing Vik's intelligence, he might just ignore his brother's sacrifice. If Mannat hasnt cared to ask him till now about his future, then there are least chances she will ask him when she gets her happily family back. Basically, they both JUST dont care what happens to DK. Or May be before they think, DK will be gone from the face of the earth

After she leaves the room he wonders why still he has feelings for Mannu. Idiot.

Rest was all about plotting against Dua and Yuvis failed skills in cooking.

DK Mannat relationship is shown as brotherly and friendly since pre leap. Earlier they were secretive because they were hiding Viks birth truth and later due to circumstances.

In pre leap, DK had called himself Mannats jeth.

Post leap, barring the forced confession on Neetus insistence (in Msnnats absence), DK has not given any sign to Mannat that he has feelings for her. He has slipped but covered it up. Even to Neetu he said pasand not pyar and added a shayad.

As for the status as Duas Baba... it was shown that people in Indore assume they are married. Dua calls him Baba. But even Ronnie was seen supportive of this decision when Mannat doubted. He has said that this is right by Dua.

Later when Dua was born, the birth certificate did not have any name. It happened much later. And according to some of us, Mannat looked detached to the baby (possibly suffering from depression) while DK stepped up . Thats when DKs name was added to the certificate without discussing with him. It was between Ronnie and Mannat.

He later said I should tear it up but Mannat refused.

Legally they are not married but Dua is his niece... so he does have a blood bond with her. Apart from that I dont suppose any legality holds true.

DK Mannat have never openly acknowledged themselves as husband wife to Indore neighbours. Post leap DK is Mannats friend and saarthi.

Most of it is the competition where Yuvi has planted a firecracker bomb in Duas grill while she remains unaware. I FFed it.

Yuvi bechare ke pass thoda conscience hai and he asks what if Buddy scolds me. But Malla tells him to act nice and pretend to be innocent if he is caught. Accept the mistake.

Aish panics when she doesnt see Mannat but Vish tells her I locked all rooms.

Anyway, Mannat lands up in Viks room. Panics first then hides behinds the sofa while Vik removes his shirt. Is planning to run when Vik comes out in towel and vest 😁

Vikku ke dil ke guitar bajte hai and Mannat fumbles with her lie. Vik knows this, pins her to wall and asks if she is lying. Mannat taunts that he still doesnt believe her. Vik says someone who has got dhokha from a loved one doubts everything 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

DK calls Mannat and Vik lets go of her hand making her fall. After she goes he wonders why he has feelings still..

Anyway.. continuity error again since they clearly showed Vik taking out the hideous ring and leaving it in the pooja place. But it magically appears on Viks hand again when he is back to the room. 🤦‍♀️

Thats what I said na... if he doesnt marry, he cannot be called as a couple .. so he can only adopt as a single male. And that cannot be a girl child.

Dua however can be his dependent as his niece (till she becomes 18 or starts earning) ... thats legally allowed for a Govt. Servant.

And not sure in India, but in other countries I don’t see why two unmarried partners can’t legally adopt a child.
