No wonder England isnât all that great anymore.
Hum kisi ko bhi aise bolne ki halat mein nahi hai babu

Salman Agha | Pakistan captain:
It started well with the bat, but we couldnât finish the way we wanted. At the end of the day, sometimes you have to give credit to the opposition. The way Harry Brook batted was outstanding - he completely took the game away from us. Yes, we just have to wait and see how the other results go. Weâll be hoping they go our way, and then we know weâll have to win against Sri Lanka. It was a mixed surface, but I thought we bowled really well up front. Then Harry came in and played an outstanding innings. We threw everything at him, but he was simply too good for us today. He has batted really well in every single game of this World Cup and has been consistent for us over the last six or seven months. Unfortunately, the other batters havenât performed the way we wanted. That can happen in World Cup games, but weâre hopeful we can improve in the next match. He bowled really well. Thatâs what we expect from him - to strike up front. Thatâs what heâs famous for, and he delivered today. It always seems to be him! Whenever we lose, it feels like heâs the one making the difference.
But credit where itâs due - he batted brilliantly today. Hopefully, he saves some runs for the game against New Zealand. Yes, especially when heâs in that kind of form. He plays all around the ground - 360 degrees - which makes it very challenging to set fields and execute plans. They were smart. They didnât attack too hard, they just rotated the strike well. Still, Usman Tariq bowled really well and picked up two important wickets whenever we needed breakthroughs. When Mohammad Nawaz bowled that second-last over, I thought maybe something could happen. Cricket is a funny game - anything is possible. Thereâs always hope, and as a team, weâll always keep believing.
Even India wouldnât have played so badly
And to be fair, we have lost one match in 2 series. 6 runs ke liye they wasted 2 wickets and 10-12 balls

Exactly......England ain't at all dangerous now. Had it not been for Harry Brook entire England batting line up would've fallen like a pack of cards. Imagine bottling up 6 off 12
It was a one-man heroic today, Brook played truly special innings in a pressure match, but it's not the first time Brook was doing this, he played similar kinda outstanding innings earlier as well.
If this kinda temparament & display of game by rest of players continue, I don't think England has a fair chance to win further. They'll screw up
Harry Brook | England captain:
(On having secured a semi-final berth) That's very nice. We've come here to do that job and thankfully we've got it under the line.
(On whose decision was it to promote him to No. 3) This morning by Baz as he was the mastermind behind it and it could have not come off, but thankfully tonight it has. We wanted to try and maximise the powerplay a little bit more and everybody knows that I like to try and take the game on and I was going to do that from ball one. So, thankfully it came off and I managed to get us a decent start.
(Was it at the back of his mind to promote himself up the order) I'd been thinking about it for a while and it's something I want to do in my career moving forward anyway, not just for England and in franchise cricket. I want to get up there and try and face as many balls as possible.
(On whether him having a terrific record against Pakistan triggered that promotion) Yeah, Baz said that this morning. He said, what do you think about going number three? Pakistan's your team and I was just like, yeah, let's do it.

Surya Kumar Lubs you....bol raha tha he needs only optimistic people like you....
We have witnessed a knock that'll go down as a World Cup classic, and it's helped England become the first team to book a semi-final birth.
England have reached their fifth successive semi-final in T20 World Cups, doing so by recording their fifth successive T20I win at Pallekele in the span of 3 weeks.
Brook also became the first England captain to score a century in men's T20Is. England will now shift focus to New Zealand before worrying about the big game coming up after that. For Pakistan, they would now want Brook and co. to deliver a win against New Zealand to improve their chances of making the semis. They'll be watching keenly when Sri Lanka and New Zealand face off tomorrow. This group is wide open with plenty of action to come. One semi-final spot sealed, and three more to go. Itâs only going to get tighter and spicier from here.

Nahh for what itâs worth, itâs one match. Yes, it was an important one but hey, it happens. Like I said yesterday, itâs not so much as losing a match as opposed to losing it by a hugehuge margin. Now we are left to wait/ponder on possible scenarios, pray. They could have avoided this situation. Khair, ab kya hi karein.
lol Surya is nvm, mujhe usse kuch nahi kehna. Ab bhi heâs like we are gonna make no changes. Iâm like Bhai if you donât do changes â phir
