Connection is a tricky thing because nalli Akshu was raised by Sirat but she always recalled Naira

Even Ruhi was crying for her Akshara masi in holi party but they never had any connection

People watch new gen with new characters in mind, most don't actually care about past episodes

The thing about akshu and ruhi is true but we have to keep in mind that both naira and akshu were fls so they needed to show them being remembered , even if the ones remembering them had literal zero bond with them .

But in case of mukti , she will remember abhira in next gen because, first , abhira is the fl and she needs to be remembered in next gen (even by maira who barely spent a year with her) and second because mumma ka pyaar would be reason for next gen sister rivalry (most probably). Also choti vaani and mukti both have plenty of scenes with abhira and mukti is damn possessive about her so mukti missing and remembering abhira in next gen would make more sense than anything else.

What I meant was Abhira has spent 8 years with Mukti but they won't necessarily show this connection in next gen

They will obviously show connection between Maira and Abhira, current bonds don't matter for post gen leap situation

That's also true but if the rivalry is based on their love for mumma (as shown reason for their fights until now) then definitely we can expect them to show mukti remembering abhira because as now she is the only relation she has and i don't think dkp will given any importance to her bio parents in next gen as they have completely removed their existence and importance from vaani's life and now she is mukti .
