Trupti you know how many disagreements we have had in the past where I defended Mannat and you defended Vikrant. Since prior to leap I see Vikrant being targeted as a character. I don't say Vikrant is a saint definitely not and he has done his fair share of mistakes. But, I do see gender bias playing a role in how audience reacts.

I will point out a few more scenes which I didn't since I was avoiding some characters in my posts 🙈

1. Mannat sees Vikrant with YY and assumes they are married - fair enough, Vikrant sees and hears Mannat, DK and Dua addressing them as parents - Vikrant is critized

2. Mannat and DK make a pact to keep lying to Dua forever, Mannat is absolved of repeating the same mistake as pre-leap because of Dua since she is the mother. How can we keep using Dua for everything Mannat does be it lying, falsifying BC, isn't this gender bias because women can conceive ?

All I say is when we talk about equality, give equal treatment to the characters ( I am not talking about writing which is not in our control), we cannot absolve one character of all their mistakes, while holding 1 character responsible for everything. Both Mannat and Vikrant played a role in what happened pre-leap. If Mannat planned to lie for a whole life time, Vikrant CA Mannat. Infact I am now believing Writers wanted to keep both at fault and this was intentional.

Today's episode was very funny , I am just excited to see AdSha and ManVik in the scenes finally. But super scared of the impending Shaadi and gives me fake Shaadi PTSD 🫣 and Mannat we already know has her guard on duty claiming rights on both Mannat and Dua in every scene 😬.

Infact Mannat even returned the shares she took from ARS so no clue what are these dialogues for and intended to convey. Guess, he will realize what a real GD is when Y swipes him off of his wealth.

Equal treatment can be given when both are at equal stages of life.

Are ManVik at equal stages of life currently ? No.

Yes both are parents to Dua, both know half truths, both lost the chance to lead a happy married life with each other, both lost their family members.

Vikrant was the father unknowingly but did he had to go thru all the trouble pre, during & post pregnancy ? No.

Did he had go thru extreme amount of CA ? No.

Was he answerable to society for carrying pregnant child whose father is not known ? No.

Did he have to arrange for a fake partner and pretend to be married for the sake of society inspite of how painful it would be ? No.

Mannat went above all through all alone. Having DK or RoTu doesnt eliminate the fact that in such delicate situations, woman always looks for her partner but Vikrant whom she loved the most abandoned her...

And then few years later she sees her with some random woman. How she is gonna react then ?

But after seeing him with Yashika she didn’t try hurting him to get some reaction out of him. And thats were the difference lies between both of them in handling such pre carious situations..

I thought pre leap he believed Vishakha when she told him Mannat was with DK. Pre leap him believing it was stupid and when he saw then post leap he remembered Vishakha telling him that. His pre leap belief that Mannat was having an afffair was reinforced. Even today Vishakha accused DK of snatching his brother’s fiancée.

Mannat has signed divorce papers... freeing Vik out of the relationship as per his demand (as told by Malla) ... whereas Vik doesnt even know the existence of those papers.... in his mind and in his declarations to other people he claims to be married (to Mannat) ...

And as of today has accepted the proposal of another woman.... so logically VY marriage (whenver it happens) is invalid from Vikrants POV ... not for Mannat

are we to ignore that?

Has Vik thought about what would be Ys status in an invalid marriage... a girl who he thinks loves him deeply and is imaandar and wafadar?
