Posters with splashed faces now seem to be the standard for a certain kind of 'action' movies... quite unimaginative (even in the movies the actors are drenched in computer-generated blood).

Maybe the producers bribed the respective decision makers enough ... money & violence seem to become a winning 'currency'...

Fortunately, there still are other movies to watch... like the sweet romances... albeit... there is a lack of true family movies, I feel.
