A perfect balance, missed your posts !!

I refrain from writing too much on the characters, and defend each one becasue ultimately the writers (who are pretty bad in this show
) can turn characters around as they please. As a Manvik fan, I will always defend each of them. DK I was never fond of, even when he was introduced, & I am sceptical even now, the way he is placed; he can turn in any direction.
Before an episode update, I just want to speak about Mannat today. We focus so much on Vikrant, DK, because we are afraid of who she will end up with.
Her dialogues have been pretty rational according her POV. Day before, yesterday she cried to Ronny, when she agreed to the deal because she felt she was so helpless as a mother that she was using her child for money! We see so many children pushed into the limelight to earn money for the family. And we criticise them too, saying they allow their kids to stay on the sets so late, how can they etc.
Secondly, yesterday she said, she wanted to keep Dua away from that house, and that crowd because of everything that had happened there. the poison, the toxicity of the harsh words spoken. She lost the love of her life, and she lost her mother. in that house on the day she was going to get married!
For once, i am glad the makers are showing the trauma of the FL; rather than being stoic, She broke down once for Vikrant, and what could have been, she did say ' yeh hamari Dua hai, Vikrant, hamari pyaar ki nishani'.
But she is terrified of entering Vikrant's life. Without getting into whataboutery of the other characters, as a mother, i feel she has clarity in her dialogues about exposure of Dua to Vikrant.
As a mother, after a point, the protection of the child becomes paramount to anything, and anyone, including the husband.
Sorry about two posts, but I had to get Mannat's POV out of my system.

I agree with all but bold. I think this should be courts decision. Hopefully, history won't repeat with lies about Dua before it's too late.
Mannat is fiercely protective of people she considers her own. Be it even Shalini and Sunitha. She had time and again asserted to Vishaka pre leap that she wouldn't allow her to hurt Rotu.
Ronnie had gone to drop Aman when the offer of getting him in exchange for money was made. The way the matter was presented made him believe he was infact giving Aman a wonderful life . Ronnie was ignorant of Neetu dragging Vikrant he has always tried to be fair in what he did.
He happily transferred the property in Vikrant and Mannats name. Yet when the half truths emerged he did try to save Neetu and Vishaka poisoned Vikrant s mind and made his usurp their and Mannats share .
If Rotu is wrong to have got Vikrant in lieu for money Vikrant even if it's his mode to help Neetu offering money to have his way with his competition is very unfair. If the end justifies the means the same logic needs to be consistently applied.
Look at the way Vishaka guilt tripped DK and kept him throughout his growing up years I dread thinking what kind of life Aman would have had with her..
Many adoptive parents try and relocate when the child grows hoping to keep truth from the praying eyes of society. By relocating to London the Salujas were trying to forget Vikrants death and the trauma of the fire.
.if Rotu offering money in exchange for Aman is wrong so is the offer of money for Duas participation is wrong.

- Vikrant's scene was heart breaking, and the lyrics of the song, after a long time, fit perfectly. Neetu will heal with Vikrant next to her, literally with his money, and figuratively, she has sensed his presence. I can't get her drugging out of my mind though, and I hope they address but I have less hope.
- Vishakha heard the hospital monitor sound; but she did not tell Malla and ARS. She is keeping quiet, that means she will have her own plans soon. She also got angry when she heard kumar talk about giving money to Neetu.
- Malla of all people questioning Vikrant about his decision, with so much arrogance, and ownership?? This is one character I hate. however, suddenly her dumb look disappeared, she was holding Yuvi close to her Now it 's a battle for her child vs Mannat's child.
- Mannat DK convo was what she needed, to do what she had to do. DK saying maybe she will get back everything was a red herring line, we all know. Let us not keep expectations from dialogues
- As a manvik fan, Vikrant yesterday made me feel his pain. He walks away with the sympathy, surrounded as he is by only people who are fake and scheming. The real meaning of his life being a lie, he will know now. He himself said everyone hates him. But the people around do not hate him; they are cheating him, giving him fake relationships in the pretext of love.
- Mannat entering SM, maybe portends, that she will soon see the trap he is in, at least I am hoping. And her being around him, she will see cracks in his emotions for Neetu. Maybe ..she will be his BDB. Like Dua sai in the first promo. She makes thing ok becasue she is Babaji ki Bandi.

Isn't there a difference between child trafficking and signing a child for a project.. there are a lot of parents and children who are offered money for their child's participation in projects/competition to showcase their talent,as part of a deal.. Ultimately it's their choice to accept it or not.. It can't be compared to buying off a child and distancing them from their family to fulfill one's void of a child, its child trafficking.. If at all vik does it in case of yuvi in future I would say the same
And ends doesn't justify means... that's exactly my point, just because rotu gave vik a supposedly better life doesn't completely justify their actions of buying of a child.. and irrespective of how bad vish is ,rotu were responsible for completely shattering a family... Dk can stay angry at vish for what ever she did.. But how did he let go of the harm that rotu caused to his family... Can anyone really forgive people who caused life threatening accident to their father?... If they truly redeemed then they can forgive them but never can forget.. DK not only forgot but also prioritised them over his brother who he supposedly love the most...

@bold - From Manvik's POV, this is what I definitely do not want. I dread custody battles in ITV. And this particular case will be accompanied with the choicest of nasty words for Mannat and Vikrant from the other characters as well as the FDs . As if we have not had enough already.
From day 1, Manvik's relationship, if they talk, fight it out, things get resolved, which is why everyone tries to keep them apart.
Unfortunately that has become the fulcrum of the show. To keep them apart. The writers have painted themselves into a corner with this premise.

Agree with every point you said :)
BOLD : This truly highlights his double standards. He prioritizes Rotu and Mannat over the brother he became a police officer for and longed to meet his whole life. Yet, when the time came to stay and support his brother, he left him to suffer for people he met only a few days prior during the wedding fiasco. He didn't even try to convince his brother to stay, missing another chance to save him from their evil mother, whose capacity to stoop low for her desire for wealth is well known to him..
No point now to discuss anything as it's done and dusted for the time being..
