I totally agree with all your rant!!! I couldn’t feel the connection between Neetu and Vikrant yesterday when he was crying for all the reasons you mentioned….. ab tak kyun ruka to help?!

Regarding DCP he essentially is of mindset anything that is beneficial for Mannat he will agree to! I don’t know if he is flipped per se. He has not been like a crazy lover after Mannat…. All he did was acknowledge that yea he has feelings (tbh after all these years of tackling life together) he respects Mannat and more so is good with how Mannat respects him. Which we clearly saw Mannat listens to him and he doesn’t push her but makes her understand a perspective.

Vik and DCP conversation in last couple episodes he still cares for Vikrant. As it should be he is not “angry” like Mannat or Vik are with this whole situation. He is still being blamed by Vik …. But as DCP said that’s Viks thinking he can’t control what he thinks.

Vikrant kah yeh joh attitude hai to hurt Mannat now by accepting proposal is unacceptable…. He is literally embarking on the same journey to hurt her. I hope he pays a hefty price … I want him to know Dua is his daughter…. The day that will happen all he’ll should break lose for him and dua has seen a very nasty side of Vik. So good luck to him. I also feel if they are deliberately keeping DK as dicey.

All he has said that shayad pasand karta hun... didnt say pyar ... the second time he said main marr jaata... which is a bit extra but Mannat was in grave danger then...

Apart from this he has been a Vik supporter indirectly... pushes Mannat towards Vik instead of holding her back.

There was a look between Vik and DK in previous episode... in that Dua ko sue karunga scene... Vik quickly looks at where Mannat is standing and then proceeds to blame Dua.

Ever since that I have been wondering if DK and Vik have a secret pact? 🤔

DK looks at Vik in surprise when Vik asks Mannat why did you come to Mumbai?

At the beginning of that scene DK says to Vik.. main samjh raha hun tum kya karne ki koshish kar rahe ho...

Even if they are not working together... I feel DK has understood what Vik is trying to do and is helping him somehow.

I feel it will be "what goes around comes around," if he accepts the proposal. Until now, the 'cozy, happy' Indore family has flaunted their togetherness—holding hands and listening to each other intently to make Vik feel dejected and unloved. Since they act as a unit in everything, it’s time to let them taste their own medicine.🤪😝

Ultimately, we know the outcome: after much dragging and pulling, Y's truth and the vamps' truths will come out, leading both to realize their mistakes and reunite...

Loved your thoughts on Vikrant's scenes today and Adnan was brilliant as usual 🤩.

One thing which stuck me was he is making himself look bad to give them money, though he still is relying on his memories of accident night, which is Neetu killed his dad, Ronnie used his money to save Neetu & Neetu drugged him.

This scene somehow reminded me of ARS dying hospital scene & how alike Mannat and Vikrant are .

Adnan was fabulous and loved his and Neetu's scene so much for the bond and acting... not for the content. Adnan can only do so much when the script doesnt support.

The Vikrant we see in the second part of the episode around witches is the sensible Vikrant I have been waiting for since ages.

Vik arrives in Neetu's room which seems to be kept vacant only for him to have a heart to heart

He is upset, cries seeing her in that state and blurts out a lot of his emotions.

Mannat is doing a slow walk in the corridor so that Vik can finish his talk.

Mannat arrives to find an empty room .. Vik has miraculously disappeared. He then calls Kumar to get 25L in cash to give to Dua's mom.

Mannat is sad and expresses her frustration to Neetu that she had to do this deal... DK arrives.

Mannat rues the fact that she will have to go close to Vik again and put Dua in to the same environment she wanted to desperately keep Dua away from.

But Mannat decides to do it for Maa... Neetu Maa... that she is no more the girl who left SM broken by the circumstances but she will return and face the people now as a mother.

DK tells her to be strong, to face her demons and maybe the future will give her back what she once lost.

Parallely, witches are planning what to do. Aish can leave in 2 days time and she hopes she wont have to face Mannat in those 2 days. Vish doesnt reveal Vik could be in hospital when it looks like she did notice that.

Vik returns home and party prep is on. Witches make a big deal about Yuvis new photoshoot. Vik tries to make them understand that he has to take Dua and he has already talked to her family and they have agreed.

Malla loses it and so does Yuvi... throws a tantrum... like an entitled brat declares he is the best chef and he deserves to be the face of competition.

Vik finally reminds all of them that certain decisions need to be taken for business even if we dont like it. This is one of them. He reminds them that the luxury that they have comes from this business.

Though, he doesnt reprimand Yuvi when he keeps calling Dua a poor girl.

All of them leave. Kumar arrives and loudly asks Vik to check the papers where Vik is to transfer the money for Neetu's treatment. Vish overhears this and gives a angry look to Vik.

Doc arrives to take Neetu to surgery... Mannat once again asks Neetu to stay strong... that she needs her mom with her and to fight for her kids.

Selfish woman that Neetu is... says I will fight because my puttar, my Vikrant is with me.

Poor Mannat takes a step back.

She and Ronnie then discuss how she hates the fact that she is now indebted to Vik for helping them.

Precap is Mannat finding out VY are not married but Vik accepts the proposal to piss off Mannat.

He found out then and there that Mannat needed money for Neetu. Went and saw Neetu. He could have organized the funds without letting anyone know. There was no need to be nasty and say all those pathetic words to Mannat.

Agar help hi karna tha to tab kar deta... why did it take Neetu to reach last few breaths to put Vik into action?

Moreover, he is not even the BDB though some might think of him.... it did not occur to him that he can help Neetu till he saw the poster . So in reality, it is Dua and even Yuvi for his tantrum who are the BDBs... Vik is just the medium.

Even now, his actions are governed by Mannat and her daughter.

Had Dua not landed up on the poster somehow, Vik wouldn't have found out that Neetu could die!!!!

Vik now says, you are the mom who loved me more than her own life. Does that mean her forgives her for what she did all those years ago?

He had that realization during the leap years as well and that's why there was distance between him and Vish as shown in initial episodes of leap.... so why did he need any divine intervention to help Neetu?

Why couldn't he bother to check on Neetu in Indore till the very end?

All these statements that I dont want to lose you and I will protect you look very shallow now. It looks like he wants to prove to himself that he is a bigger and better person than others and can forgive Neetu inspite of getting betrayed by her.

I had an issue with defense of Viks Indore behaviour and pulling down DK .... this is why.... Viks regret, his pain could have happened then and there ... irrespective of what DK did or how he was presented to audience or what Mannat thought of DK and Vik.

He did have that prior to going to Indore, but the moment he saw Mannat, he forgot everything and got obsessed with hurting her.

Viks supposed growth (if we can call it that ... only time will tell) which he showed today should have happened without any comparison or reference to DK.

His frustrations to Neetu are also about what Mannat said to him... again no retrospection why she said it... how his own behavior to her is making her think like that?

No introspection either on why his supposed goody mother Vishakha is fine with not helping a dying woman...

His chance to financially help Mannat/Neetu is also given to him on a platter.... is a reactive decision not proactive.

His one and only obsession seems to Mannat and not even Neetu... and that too without any rational thought process. Only reacting to somehow trouble Mannat because she is not on his side.

I am not sure if I would call it an admirable quality in a person

This will always remain the ultimate truth of the show. Idk whether its good or bad, it does seem toxic but this will always remain the fact.

You will never see Mannat taking major life decisions based on him. She makes mistakes no doubt but nothing is based on him, its on her own. Meanwhile this one, its always depends upon Mannat. You wont see Mannat saying to dk lets get married or I wanna move on too after witnessing Vikrant Yashika but Vikrant in return will 100% do it. Why? Just to spite Mannat, make her feel the pain. Why? What will he get? Nothing. Still he will do it because that involves Mannat.

He treats people based on what Mannat is to them or how she has conveyed them to him. Post leap, we have never seen him thinking about his parents this much as compared to how much he has throught of Mannat. The reason why he doesnt feel anything for dua? For him, she is symbol of Mannat betraying him with his brother. Any other adult will keep children off limit amidst the adults fights, but he doesnt.

He will bond with Dua, slowly but surely but he will always keep Mannat as no 1. For him, Mannat comes first, his kids later. He will be more of Mannat's lover/ husband than her kids father. I'm not saying he will be a bad father but he will always be consumed more by Mannat.

I felt that Neetu heard her puttar’s pain and concern for her while in her subconscious state, especially when she held his hand as 'Abhi Mujh Mein Kahin' played. What an apt song choice!

Reacting to a loved one's touch or voice is a classic way to show their deep emotional bond. The song choice.highlights that she still has "a little bit of life left" (baaki thodi si hai zindagi) because of her love for her puttar..Her subconscious response—clinging to his hand—proves that the bond between a mother and her puttar surpasses even a semi-conscious state..

At the end, she said she will fight for her puttar because her Vikrant is with her. She obviously heard him subconsciously..

The whole scene is a classic in itself with emotional breakdown 😢 😭

Though he still feels betrayed by them but the way he said that I will not betray you and I will do whatever it takes to save you that was the most heart wrenching yaar💔😭. And the way Neetu held his hand yes she felt his presence and listened to him😢. Now that’s their heart and emotional connection ❤️.

I always loved Swati and Adnan’s bond . In one of the BTS she offered her dupatta to Adnan so he can wipe his hands. That was so mom coded❤️. No wonder she misses him😢.

I forgot to tag you. See you and me on same page regarding Vikrant. Exactly he is still in that zone of his returned memories and that’s why feels betrayed and said the same that I will not betray you😢

Thanks for the update moor,... Seems like there is little bit movement in story but with trp dropping how long can they stretch more...

After reading your update I watched the episode so putting things from my pov...., actually I too didn't get vik's stance regarding rotu until now... But today vik's scene did give input into his though process regarding rotu... I feel he is in heart vs mind kind of scenario,a moral dilemma.... His heart loves them, knows they love him, wants to forgive them and apologize to them... But his brain doesn't let him do that because irrespective of what vish's truth is, rotu themselves accepted they did few things..and all those things disheveled a family,their actions did lot of injustice to a family...

We might be looking at rotu from perspective of them being vik's parents and mannat's in-laws, thats why give them a lot of bod...but if we keep mannat and Vik aside and think of rotu's actions from a neutral perspective, they are so very gruesome in their actions.. their actions completely destroyed a family... A man lost his life, his mother has to live away from her son, grandson.. One of his son was taken away from his family another son has to live away from his father and brother.. and all this irrespective of vish's actions... Irrespective of vish's actions.. Rotu were also responsible for all of these.... and instead of standing by the family who they wronged they bought of their child and escaped to London, all this because they had money.... They misused their property to hide crimes against a family and bought of a child.. So what vish is at fault how does it let go of neetu doing accident and then ronnie trying to cover it up with money and then buying of a child.. Even if dadi Or vish offered the child for money, how was ronnie fine putting a child through that much trouble to take him away from his family.. , he was fine putting a child through all of that mental trauma just for his wife's obsession...

Vik is going through moral dilemma....wether to let go of their crimes because of his relation to them or hold them accountable for doing so much injustice to a family...he wants to forgive rotu, but the things that rotu did are very difficult to let go... he would have let it go considering he love them, they love him and reunited with them if they didnt leave the town.. But them leaving town just overnight made him feel they don't want him in their life , I would have preferred vik atleast returning their property and think that according to his character traits he would have and him not returning is just a loophole but even if we try to understand it from story perspective.. Then just like above heart vs mind,moral dilemma.. his heart might want to give away the property, but his mind fears if he returns the property it would be unjust to the family who lost so much because of them ,their actions and them using their property to hide their crimes....

and he never searched for them because he knows mannat and rotu choose each other and are there for each other and will support each other...so he just let them be and not push his way through their life..

And this is what it hurts vik regarding mannat too... What all vik did when he went overboard with DM allegations is wrong that's when the weight of mistakes shifted onto vik in case of manvik.. but until then mannat was more in the wrong, her white lie is still fine, she apologized for it.. but then her supporting rotu over vik who is in so much trauma was wrong, I know she is trying to put the entire truth in front of vik but her way of supporting rotu just because vish was more evil is wrong, irrespective of what vish did... What rotu did to vik and his family is very wrong, she shouldn't have prioritized them over vik.. she should have understood the pain of betrayal vik felt regarding rotu and let him deal with his trauma, and then made him realise the truth and convinced him of giving rotu another chance...

At that time neetu has ronnie, ronnie has neetu what vik did in anger is wrong but ronnie would have gotten neetu out of jail, ronnie losing property was harsh but neetu was there with him to support him and all these for 2-3 days..and dk could manage being sad for two days......but all vik had was mannat, he lost everything all at once and was in trauma...mannat should have prioritized him for timebeing instead of justifying rotu or dk and later after a day Or two should have confronted vik for his mistakes and convinced vik of forgiving them and give them another chance.....any way what ever mannat did ,vik had no right to doubt her loyalty,thats where he crossed the line.... after that mannat shouldn't have prioritised or supported vik but until that point mannat was wrong in not prioritizing vik and this is what hurted vik that she is fighting with him for the people who did so much injustice to him.....

Even now she doesn't hold rotu accountable for what they did to vik.. she rightfully points out vik was wrong in his behavior with rotu that day but why doesn't she hold rotu accountable for their mistakes with vik,she considers them as only victims in this scenario, while both vik and rotu are victims of each other......mannat being angry on vik for what he did to her is completely right she is more victim in case of manvik... but in case of rotu-vik both are victims of each other..

And as far as vik not helping neetu earlier, for us it might be over a week but it's just few hours for him... after knowing about neetu's condition the first thing he remembered is him denying money to mannat... but at that point it didn't occur to him that mannat might be still searching for money.. it was later during conversation with vish he realised may be mannat might have not been able to arrange money after he denied and that's when he decided to help.. as I said he would have anyway helped neetu even if it means going against vish promise, but meanwhile he found a way to deal with both scenarios and he opted it... As far as it not occuring as a instinct to him... then even it didn't occur as instinct to mannat to agree to a business deal for neetu's life... I know making her daughter a business deal is not something she would like.. but still its about someone's life vs death situation... It's not like dua is participating in something wrong or mannat has to force dua.. It's just a cooking competition and dua herself is so interested in cooking and competition.. so it should have occured to her as an instinct to take up a harmless deal for some one in a life and death situation... but mannat didn't, she needed push from DK to act on it... And in same way vik need push from situations to solve the issues..

This is just what I understood from the very confusing narrative of the show..
