If he’s such an old friend of the family it simply doesn’t make sense if he doesn’t know that Mihir has so many kids and Angad, Hrithik and Pari are his adopted sons who were his niece and nephews via marriage.

And ok, he didn’t know about those kids but he has met Shobha who is very visibly older than Angad, Hrithik by at least a decade. He has also met Parth as you noted.

He has fixed his granddaughter’s marriage to Dev, who is the grandson of Mihir’s younger cousin Hemant!

This is clear case of the writers being idiots.

She didn’t need to see the proof of the deed. She saw Noina hugging her husband as she was confessing her love to him and he stood there letting her do all of that. Mihir was not shocked, he didn’t push her away, question her or anything. The pictures made it clear that the whole thing was probably going on for longer and had crossed a stage where the confession was the least of her worries.

Tingu, Chindi Dev got Saloni as his wife.
