I wrote on EDT that I have some thoughts how the post leap characters are...
Here's a detailed explanation...
I feel everyone who has surrounded Vik is there for a purpose... and its mostly to show him a mirror on how wrong he judged people... or rather how it should be vs how it is...
Starting with Yuvi... who is Viks foster child... Vik claims to have loved him deeply and Yuvi reciprocates... audience doesn't feel that way but Vik does... the kid is a brat and is only concerned of what he can gain from Vik... dont see the unconditional love... though if there is anyone who Yuvi has bond with is Vik...
Through him Vik can see how blood bonds can be trumped by heart bonds...
Vish Malla and Yuvi is a different equation and independently too they serve a purpose...
Vish is what a bio mom is... but post leap Vik still misses Neetu... he hasnt developed that relationship with Vish even though she pretends to love him deeply.
A concerning aspect which Vik hasnt realized is Vish never calls him Aman unless she wants to trigger him... for her he is VS only ... an ATM to gain access to wealth. Hence she must have never bothered to ask him to go back to being Aman.
RoTu left their entire property to Vik... all they wanted was Vish to not reveal the birth truth to him... had they been after money and not the truth Ro would have fought.
Malla Yuvi and Vish are actually parallels to Neetu Vik and Vish...
Malla has taken inspiration from Vish and trapped Vik in a fake relationship with Yuvi.
Vik will see his childhood in Yuvi but also the fact that it is possible for bio moms to be vile and have their own ulterior motives... he does notice already that Malla is not a good mom as compared to Y.
Y is a barrier to Mannat and Viks reconciliation but also a window to how the accusation of being a gold digger is...
Mannat never shied away from her poor background... always was scrutinized and discriminated against... Vik too operates with a unconscious bias where he thinks Mannat must need more from him than just him, this was fed into systematically by everyone that Mannat is after him for money ...
Mannat shut him out on that when she returned all the shares to him and left the house.... Vik infact looks like a GD by living off Saluja wealth and not embracing his Aman persona. Had she been a GD she would have stayed back.
Whereas Y has faked her financial status... Vik finds it easier to believe her as according to his bias...she has the wealth and must only need him for what he is....
Ys poverty is a lesson to Vik to see beyond the obvious... apart from the need to fund the fake lifestyle Y is not really in love with Vik.. and he will be getting a rude lesson from her.... the only person who truly loved him for who he is and not his wealth is Mannat.
Lastly DK... he is another parallel to RoTu and Malla... for different reasons... DK has given a good upbringing to Dua and has contributed in her growth as a well rounded intelligent and smart child... this is also when he knows the truth that the child is not his... just like RoTu knew... yet they too showered their love on Vik.
It is possible to have emotional bonds thicker than blood without any expectations of an advantage.
DK is also a corollary to Malla where he is there as Mannats friend with no ulterior motives for her (as of today) ... whereas Malla has always pretended to be Viks friend but never had his well being in her mind.
A friend is one who stays with you at your worst and not when you have everything.
Malla instigated the whole sach batao drama by supporting Vish.
Aish is the master manipulator in all this but also the greatest ManVik shipper. Her influence has and will always bring ManVik together.
I feel all these characters are to prove all the accusations Vik laid on Mannat RoTu and DK as wrong.
That of being a GD, liar and manipulating him.
All the others who are with him now are doing the same thing... but he has not realized it... when they start getting exposed is when Vik will understand his errors in throwing everyone out.
The sach gang will also find out their mistakes in trusting the wrong people and expecting them to stick to their words. and that it would have been better if the truth was out through them.
Vikrant is a confused person right now.... he is unable to shake his identity but feels offended when called Aman. Misses Neetu but doesnt make an attempt to reach out to her... feels betrayed by Mannat, yet never wonders why she would do such a thing ... he is operating from a victim mindset which he is to some degree.... but we cant deny that some of his pain is self inflicted.
His anger management needs to be addressed... as aspect Aish exploited to the full. Only Dua has the potential to calm him down which will start moving things in pro ManVik direction.

. Vik has to shed off all trappings of being a Kumar (reject Vish) and become a Saluja.
