Morne Morkel | India bowling coach (1/2): We've got lots of options, that's right. It's just about getting those guys into good spaces. Obviously a big day today, so got to calm those butterflies, sum up conditions quite well and execute. It's all having all that ammunition in the tank, but it's about execution. (On changing playing XIs based on conditions) You wanna give guys the security that they've worked hard, they've got in their place in the starting XI, but also in the same breath, that competition is quite healthy. But for us, it's about reading what we see in front of us, the conditions, pitch conditions, and then making a call from there. We've got a squad of 15 game winners, X-factor players. Everybody that's gonna walk in on the day can have an impact. And I think those guys understand it. That's the beauty about this team as a maturity about how they go about things.

Morkel (2/2): Happy with the way the fast bowlers are shaping up?) For sure. I think if we reflect on our different formats, a guy like Mohammed Siraj has grown in terms of skill with the ball. He has a fantastic work ethic. but I definitely think he's upped his skill. Arshdeep, in white ball cricket has been always consistent up front. And then Harshit for me is probably one guy that in terms of rawness that sort of excites me the most. You've got a guy that can bowl all three phases of the game. I know he's a great find for Indian cricket. (The variety in the spin department) I think it's a nice thing that we've got the balance. We can use these guys in different situations. That's just part of our planning leading into the World Cup, is how we can use these guys so that our bowling unit or attack doesn't come across as predictable. And Varun can bowl in the middle phase, he can bowl the power play. Kuldeep is another guy that we know can do the job for us. So, yeah, I think it's a luxury that we do have, but it's also important for us to start well in that powerplay. And the guys bowling the first three overs there or four overs need to set the tone for those guys to come in and control and do the damage for us later on. (Excited for the game?) Very excited. Always when there's an India-Pakistan game, there's a lot of hype and a lot of buzz that comes with the game. But I think our guys are in a good mindset today. Just gonna focus on executing good skills today on the surface.
