Yes, I'm aware about the change in cast for YHM.

In fact CHARMED - which is one of my all time favorite shows, I know they filmed the pilot episode and then scrapped it followed by the casting of Alyssa Milano as Phoebe.

So no, I have no issues against the makers or the channel in general when they start working on a project, do mock shoots and other stuff.

BUT, it's also a fact that these days channel put a lot of pressure on the makers, often going out of the way and forcing them to change the storyline overnight just to survive in the rat race of TRP.

Yes, from a business perspective, that is how it's done. But when you force a major change in a creative process, majority of the time it backfires.

It's one thing to scrap a couple of episodes and an entirely different thing to lock someone, start the promotion and then scrap several episodes. This only showed their stupidity and laziness that they let something go on for quite some time, only to intervene at the eleventh hour, making an embarrassing situation for the actress.

Ultimately, it's their product. They can do whatever the hell they want to do with it. If it's good, I'll definitely appreciate the new actress and the show.

For now, I'm not interested in it anymore.

Not defending Rangu here since I hate that channel but it is not everyday that a channel interferes with casting.
Stories, yes. Casting, no. We have often heard how Star has forced production houses to align with their theme and stuff. That’s just business for them. They don’t care about emotions/ character graph. Harsh, but true.

Also, scrapping a couple of episodes after shooting them, and re-shooting them all over again is definitely a monetary loss for the channel & the production house. I don’t think they would take such a step unwarranted.

There are a lot of things that happens in the background. Half the things we hear because of some insider scoop, some we might never get to hear.

As for Hitesh, Hitesh’s character was killed and his fans and that jodi fans started bashing Savi for moving on to a 3rd man. They didn’t like her bashing and started bashing Hitesh and his character.

But then when they started bashing Hitesh, they started to hype Ishvi back 🤣🤣 They were back to being Ishvi fans like they used to be once. It was hilarious. Hitesh fans said they were always Ishvi fans but bashing Ishvi because they had problem with Shakti or his fans 😂😂

I've already said that in my last comment regarding this show/issue dear, it's done and dusted now. 🤗

Let the channel do whatever the hell they want, let the actors focus on their future endeavors.

If it's a well-made show that strikes a chord - it'll be a hit or the other way round. Whoever will play the FL now, I'm sure she'll try her best and all the best to her. 👍

Don’t think so but this show has set the record for being the shortest I have seen shows going off air after 60 episodes but this is too much even for Star.

Would have been better if it had been promoted as a weekly/biweekly series for weekends like SP used to have before. At least the show could have lasted longer even if it ran for the same amount of episodes.
