. Let the dust settle at first. He's a great loving husband if they follow the OG version. He's not rich, nor from a rich background, just a common man who works as an undercover agent. He knows many things about his in-laws, which will be revealed later why he doesn't like them. And his in-laws aren't saint that they dislike him for his antiques rather from the fact that his father was a simple teacher and he doesn't have money and ain't rich. There are many factors which led him to detest them. They can't even respect his hardworking nature.
Andy, my guess was right as I have mentioned in my earlier post. Just as his in laws dislike him he too dislikes them but for different reasons. They're rich so, they dislike him but he has valid reasons to dislike them.
