About others. Arjun's mother or Ayaan didn't hit her deliberately but in self defense or to save others.. That is never considered a crime.

Saanjh's acts that you mentioned are clear cut criminal, but their intensity is not even 10% of being a murderer.

Jahnavi tried to murder Maya after Maya had made paralyzed. Ashwin was the only equal criminal to Maya here.

Maya wasn't a grey character. Grey characters do have some positive traits... Maya was out and out an evil character. If she had suffered as a child or even as an adult that doesn't mean she can keep killing others...Even if you remove the priest she did kiII Mansi who was as much of a sufferer as Maya was and who trusted her whole heartedly.

Arjun left everything and each relation of his for Maya, and yet Maya projected him as a wife abuser.

These actions aren't called being grey...

No, Vandanda tried to kill Maya not in self defense or to save someone else. Maya was going with Arjun, but that mad woman went to kill her by knife only to be stopped by Arjun at the time. She was angry at Maya. That wasn’t self defense. She is a criminal. Ashwin also tried to kill her multiple times ever since she was born. Don’t tell me a grown up man was killing a child in self defense. Ashwin also tried to kill Arjun. Jhanvi tried to kill Maya when she was already in jail and another time which I don’t remember the exact detail now. Last time I checked killing hiring someone to kill a prisoner is a crime. If you are going to justify their crimes then Maya’s crimes are also justified. Arjun and Saanjh hid a prisoner in their home for over 9 months. Another crime. Lots of other crimes too by many characters which I don’t have to keep going. They were all criminals and evil.

Other characters didn’t have any positive traits except for Maya and that one time when saanjh took care of Jhanvi for few weeks. Maya took care of Jhanvi since she was a child because that grown up sick mother couldn’t take care of her own daughter, so daughter had to be the grown up. She saved her from Ashwin when he wanted to harm and kill her. Maya also risked herself to save Saanjh from fire and burned her own hands. Maya chose to save the baby’s life again over her life at the final episode meanwhile jhanvi the sick person wanted Maya to die and baby to live just because she hated Maya so much.

I didn't see that Vandana's scene, but if she did that because of no reason she was a criminal and no justification for that.

Ashwin I myself said was a criminal of equal level as Maya and never said it was done in self defense

Only about Jahnavi I said that she attacked Maya after Maya made a paralyzed and a living corpse. It might be a crime in law but definitely justified.

Arjun Saanjh I myself said were criminals in hiding a convicted murderer. Yet the severity of this crime in much less than the crimes of Maya

Attempt to murder or being accomplice of a murderer isn't as grave a crime as murdering anyone in any court of law, neither in the realms of morality. Especially if that person is an innocent soul who suffered throughout her life and is trusting you the most...

Yes, I know attempt to murder or being accomplice isn’t the same thing as murdering, but the point is they all tried. It’s just their luck that their murder attempts wouldn’t go through but Maya ones did, and in the end Arjun’s one also did. Most of those so called positive characters had good childhoods and all. Still they were evil, had no empathy and were bad people, so for me they are worse than Maya. Maya was a grey character, so it was expected she won’t be fully positive, and she never pretended to be a saint like those horrible people. Ashwin isn’t the same as Maya as Maya never abused a child. She was always nice/protective towards children. In the last episode too she selflessly wanted the baby to be saved over her life.

I don't understand this how is the childhood related to this?? Things doesn't become justified because you had a bad childhood. Jahnavi had a good childhood but a very pathetic adulthood, being abused by husband and then in nearing old she being paralyzed by daughter.

You are making it sound like somehow Maya was justified in murdering an innocent girl because she has a bad childhood.

Murdering a traumatized adult is no way better than tormenting or even murdering a child. So yes Ashwin and Maya were same.

It doesn’t justify but it’s understandable why Maya was that way, but others were just pure evil. That’s why most sympathized for Maya and couldn’t hate her especially because as an adult too she was on the receiving end by others. They used to be the ones first to harm her, trigger her and then would play victims when Maya would get back at them. We rooted for her whenever she would get back at those evil people. I loved when she killed Vandana. Still one of my favorite killing of the show. That b*tch deserved the worst of the worst and so did others. And if you think murdering and abusing an adult and child is the same, then we have nothing to talk about. We clearly have different morals

The reason why most sympathized with Maya was because the show was made from her perspective and her character was explored. Otherwise her character was similar to season 1 Ansh. Not for any other reason....

She was evil as were others. Her crimes were more severe than that of others

And if somehow you feel a child's life is more precious than that of an adult then that's just bias
