But if they’re only able to mange such measly numbers despite such intensive data available to them, the channels & PHs should really fire their creative teams

From my understanding, the Chanel/PH’s main source of earning is ad revenues.

The demand for these ads depend not only on the time slot (obviously prime time will have more audience) but also on how popular the show is I guess and that correlates to TRPs.

So if TRPs aren’t the target, why would these PHs/chanels go crazy after these TRP numbers?
