He’s angry with Hrithik as per that fight as his brother was living a luxurious life while he became poor and suffered. As if Hrithik gave him the lamebrain idea to elope and suffer. As if his brother was just waiting for the opportunity to oust him from the family and reap the benefits of his share as well.

One thing I really like about KSBKBT2 is how the writers show family dynamics and some light-hearted family moments, unlike other shows. The positivity needs to be magnified in every other show as it really affects the mood.

By continuously watching ultra-negative shows with shifting narratives and intensely sadistic scenes significantly impacts the audience's mental health. Writers should bring much-needed positivity to storylines instead of showing EMA/triangle stories all times.

Post leap the show has improved in terms of the content and the way that the characters are more engaging and have more depth.

The complex family dynamics and the decrease in the excessive focus on the negative characters is also a refreshing change. The heavy emphasis on Pari, Noina, Ran and more importantly their never ending winning streak was the problem before with a weaker Tulsi as well.

As much as I am baffled by Angad now he’s at least getting more layers as a character too than he did before.

Currently that Abhira of rishta is again shown poor post leap. She has to puncture people’s cars and then fix them to gain money even though she comes from an extremely rich family. Has inheritance/property of her own.

I know! Their idea of women empowerment is absurd, strange and a bit of a fetishisation of poverty combined with some strange fascination towards the yesteryears era ideas of poverty being a sign of a good character. As in old movies only villains were rich. Mostly the hero or heroine’s dad who has to oppose to the match because their kid picked a street urchin for themselves which automatically makes them evil rather than you know, practical and aware of the kind of lifestyle their kid is used to and how a person from a completely different background might not assimilate well into their family. Values are a key thing to determine what a person is like but they can’t be the only thing in a realistic sense of looking at the world.

Someone’s values are only attractive as long as they don’t seem to be stifling your oxygen.

Eventually, the storyline is progressing as well as gripping at the same time. Maybe the climax is soon heading, as some reports suggest an early wrap-up by this March.

Haven’t seen any reports yet so no clue but I rather they end it on a high note when people love them than watch people begging for the show to end.

Why would they want to end a show which is enjoying the top spot in trps have they done this before with any show? Bengal elections are coming but Smriti does not have much role to play in it, may be just a cameo like bihar elections

I agree. I remember when the season 1 began I enjoyed it thoroughly even after Mihir was declared dead. After his return too it was still fine even with Mandira looming in his life. The 1st generational leap was going well with amazing actors like Hiten, Gauri, Shilpa Saklani, Sandeep etc. But, then it went for another generational leap and slowly it went down hill. Infact after Ansh's entry it became unbearable with his horrible facial expressions and him sexually assaulting Nandini. I stopped watching the show entirely and started again when I came to know Tulsi was going to pull the trigger. So, I hope the show goes off air with a happy ending rather than people waiting for it to go off air.

Regarding closing the show, they mentioned it’s a limited series from the beginning but never mentioned anything regarding how limited are they talking about. Limited in comparison to its previous 8 years run? Limited in comparison to Rishta which is going on for centuries or limited in comparison to TMKOC which has been going on since the beginning of time itself

The vagueness of their definition of limited is what makes answering this question an impossible task

Exactly they shouldn’t have gone for another generation leap after killing Ansh. Even if they had to do it, it should have been an epilogue kinda thing with the last couple of episodes, maybe the last week dedicated to showing how the family was doing now. Instead of rushing into things giving it a decent closure by allowing all the loose ends of the story to be tied up. The bad people punished/gone forever, the good ones happy.

but that was after 5 years or so. This season has not even completed one year
