Harman gets the orange cap today and Sophie Devine gets the purple cap for their contributions with the bat and bowl, respectively.

Congratulations to GG for their phenomenal victory. smiley32 This WPL has re written quite a few histories and this match will go down in it too!

Feeling a bit bad for Harman as her fifty went in vain, but MI has won the championship two times -- maybe it's time for a new winner?

GG are up in the table with a Q while MI has to wait for UPW to win with a good margin against DC on Feb 1st.

I was only able to catch the last 4-5 overs the game. A thrilling one indeed.

Harman did good, but she did need a partner at the other end to help her. Unfortunately, that didn't happen.

Congratulations to GG! Not Gambhir, but the Giants! smiley37

Thanks for the tag!
BCCI has done a good job scheduling the matches so that they don’t clash with each other.

I don't like when once progress depends on someone else's performance.

But it is what it is. All three still have a chance.

Pride is at stake for UP (though reaching the finals is very very remote) and progression is at stake for DC.

Who is going to keep their cool?

MI just have to sit there and bite their nails (and may be cheer for UP from the wings)

So, tomorrow's match will be very interesting.

Cheers..

MI may have lost and now they’re at the mercy of other results, but Harmanpreet Kaur’s knock was pure class. That innings had everything a leader’s performance should have: composure under pressure, timing over brute force, and that calm authority which lifts the whole side even when the result doesn’t go your way.

What stood out most wasn’t just the runs, it was intent with responsibility. When things were slipping, she didn’t panic or throw it away. She took the game deep, backed her shots, and reminded everyone why she’s not just a star batter but a big-match leader.

Matches are won and lost; class stays. And last night, Harman showed exactly why she belongs to that rare category.
