I would say gen 4 is the worst writing of all the gens!! Not a single track except shivani’s (that too ended too soon) is good in gen4!! I really wish this show gets out of top 10 soon and off air!!

I agree completely with the poster you quoted rishta is popular cause fans love the jodi's and the actors portraying those roles

Yeah she sum it up perfectly. The only time I hear anything in regard to a story is Gen 1. In S2 & S3 fans reminance about the jodi not so much the story or the nostalgia that follows when it comes to Gen 1

I think Gen 4 had some great tracks but all fell about after they change Shehzada with Rohit. DKP FF Abhira falling in love with Armaan and mature too fast to meet the obvious age gap between RPo & Sam. The fun young and firebrand Abhira was gone replace with a 40 years old in a 23 years old body. Once they brought that baby track which lets face it been close to year or so of Abhira being mother fans stop relating.

Shivani track was fine thanks to the actress but even that wasn't executed well

Rohit is a better actor no doubt, but the Abhimaan trajectory change with his entry and he suited the role of actually being 10 years older and family big brother.

Fans will enjoy this track cause Abhira isn't with Poddar or Armaan

Downfall of this gen started when Old Armaan was replaced IMO!
