✯ Aishwarya Khare’s NEW show Dr. Aarambhi, on Colors at 8 PM ✯

Colors TV, also available on JioHotstar is launching a new show, Dr. Aarambhi premiering January 27, 2026, airing daily at 8 PM.

Show’s Premise

Dr. Aarambhi’s latest promo introduces a married woman, played by Aishwarya Khare. Standing in the kitchen, she recalls all the betrayal and ill treatment she faced from those who she expected to support her. Coming back from the hurt, she decides to step up fr herself and make her path opening her cupboard, which has a stethoscope and doctor’s coat, which is the lead character’s dream, and now she is ready to achieve it with courage and resilience. The story looks powerful and focuses on women’s empowerment.

Yet another show that focuses on women empowerment. Only time will tell if it'll will empower women or make a mockery of women powerment like Anupamaa and the countless shows before Dr. Aarambhi.

Mukta generates excellent ideas, but she is not able to follow through to those ideas. She will soon ruin it with a ridiculous plot.

Very true. Empowerment for itv is to torture the female leads. They begin the show with lofty ideas but it ends up being the same old six and seven because of TRP pressure.

I watched the first two episodes of this show and it honestly felt like watching Anupamaa 2.0 except Aarambhi is educated.

same narcissistic husband ? Check
Is he a cheating arse ? Check
Is he a raging misogynist who thinks housewives have nothing to do except rest ? Check
Does he insult his wife as behenji ? Ofc, check.
Forced marriage at the behest of parents ? Check.
Toxic sasural? Check.

Bro I’m tired of this tried and tested formula.

One thing is new though. This guy’s parents thought, hey what’s the best way to eliminate our son’s competition ? By curbing the topper intern’s career. And what’s the best way to do that ? Marriage. Wahh
This guy is plotting behind her back for the child’s custody — it’s laughable how shows manage to make it all look so simple. The father can obtain custody of the kid, if the mother is mentally unstable or abusive (conclusive proof is required) or if she's unable to care for the kid. (Financially or emotionally) But otherwise, especially for kids under the age 18, mothers are mostly given the custody. The kid's choice is a factor. Even then, mothers are awarded visitation rights if I am not wrong. Wealth alone cannot determine who'll get the custody. Chalo logic gayi tel lene itv mein.

Why do show makers always think women empowerment is only possible when the women is cheated on, deceived or abused (physically or emotionally) ? Women can be empowered even with supportive families and relationships you know ? Ugh. 😩

Watched first 3 episodes of this show. It's going well. I like the actors and their portrayal so far. I agree with @missFiesty_69 (Hi V!🤗) that it looks like an educated Anupama for sure.

I like that Arambhi is a doctor and she will be able to kick the fraudster husband aside even in his own career once she gets to know his truth. It will be interesting to see her journey if the makers decide to not torture the audience with female lead torture beyond a point and focus on empowering her in a positive way and be a good example for her son as well. Let's see 👍

If makers can do that, I for one would be really happy. I know I’m being skeptical but I have seen too many rotten tomatoes to be optimistic.

Well. I don't know what og show this show is based on.. so, am not sure which direction this is bound to take😄.. btw, there is no forum for this show. May be we can meet there atleast until we can't bear the show anymore 😄
