Welcoming you all to the Round 2 of Republic Rhythms: Aazadi Quest Season 2, named Lost in Translation: Mile Sur Mera Tumhara. The idea behind Mile Sur Mera Tumhara is unity : of meaning and melody, thought and tune. Only those who truly know the songs will be able to bring the translated meaning back to its original verse.
Please read and understand the rules carefully before sending your answers.

In this round, familiar songs of the nation have been lost in translation. You will be given English translations of a few lines of a particular song in each question. There will be 12 questions in total. Your task is to decode the translation, identify the original song, and pinpoint the exact original lines it refers to.
Each question will contain a translated version of a song line.
This is your game and your game alone.
Discussing clues, answers or interpretations with other participants is strictly prohibited while the round is live. Any participant found sharing or receiving help will be disqualified to ensure fairness for everyone.
The translations provided are your only clues. No additional hints are hidden elsewhere.
Participants are allowed to ask for up to 2 extra hints in total (either for two different questions or both for one question). Each extra hint will cost 2 points. Hints must be asked to me via PM.
Each correct answer will award you a total of +12 points (if you identify the correct lyrics of a translation, you will get +10 points for that, and if you identify the correct song too, you will get +2 points, this gives a total of +12 points).
Each incorrect or unanswered question will give you negative marking i.e.– 4 points.
Any queries regarding this round must be asked in this thread by tagging me. Queries about specific questions, however, will not be entertained beyond the extra clue option.
You have to submit your answers in the via PM to Quantum-Dot before the deadline, with the subject line:
Deadline for submission of answers is January 29, 11 PM IST.
