I loved how Mahid shut his aunt. And went to Nazima to ask her about Seher's whereabout. Happy that they didn't drag it further, and he found Seher.

Black is worldwide the color of mourning, that is why we wear black badge during all sorts of sad days. As far as I know religiously even in Islam ( Hinduism totally wrong) black is a color of mourning. Sp bride and groom never wear black dress. This is wedding , not some theme party. So why all are in black? It looked more like forbidden party. vampire ka Shaadi type. Baas thoda blood missing tha. The costume designer just sucks in this serial. Why dressing in black for a nikaah ceremony? It looks royal.. but has nothing to do with their culture, if I am not wrong.
In my country.. black is dressed for mourning .

I keep repeating myself on this forum but I find this serial literally bewitching and it's sheer poetry on my screen.
Such beautiful leads!!! Awesome chemistry.
The actress paying seher is so beauticul! and Parth is so so so so dishy and filled with angst but such a noble soul!
Watching the precap I suddenly felt if seher at that moment just blurts out that I don't want to get married and parvez is holding my mother against her will....kisi ka baap bhi parvez ko mahid se nahi bacha paega!
And in all this time, seher is bound to know that mahid will not marry her if she does not wish for it to happen, so this might be such a good chance to say all that out loud in front of everyone! I know it won't happen, but still...
I watched some Turkish dramas but couldnt bring myself to watch Kizil Goncalar , though the actors gave good performances! Saw some clips only. Usually I prefer Turkish shows, but this one so far I prefer the Indian adaption. Seher Hone Ka Hai looks aesthetically more beautiful and has more light moments, and the age gap between the leads in the show isnt as odd, though Seher is still underage 🥲Originally posted by: ChulbuliRao
Actually in India we feel it is too much violence as we know only educated muslim families where freedom is a given factor, but there are different sects of poor mulims where such things happen.
this serial is anyways based on Kizil Goncalar- a controversial Turkish drama that showed the fight between regressive cult and secular turkish people. MAkers have obviously MODIFIED it and made it breathtakingly beautiful but the original was sooo depressing. Many turkish people loved the portrayal of such regressive sects. eventually it is Good over Evil but the journey is painful.
In the original one - Mahid and Seher will divorce and Mahid's estranged father will force seher to marry him...EEEEYUCK.. i am sure this particular scene will not be repeated here.
the world is not how it looks to us sadly.
I just like to say this show has grew on me and I'm glad my patience stuck with this show. I like to have attraction or connection and I wasn't getting that with Parth. I like in the beginning how Mahid moves steadily in silence it was so powerful. There was off movements with his acting like the outburst with Seher when she give him food she made or his emotional scene at his mother grave, didn't move me. Mahid is a character I wish was being played by smoother and more talented actor but I'm glad to see Parth finding his footing with the role. Mahid is such a beautiful character, with many layers that I can't wait to see how the layers are peeled off.
Now to this ugly sister and lazy Bua. When I say ugly I don't mean looks, I'm talking about her character and nature. This girl lived with Mahid and in their time together he never showed interest, it's not like they were in love and grandfather still arrange his shaadi. I wanted to feel sorry for her but after she pulled that stunt that trigger Mahid and he looked a psycho, I disliked her. How do you love someone but bring them pain and now this Bua is doing the same thing. Trying to get Seher kidnapped so nikah is called off. If that girl would've been a better match for Mahid why didn't she suggest it before. All selfish people
So glad I stuck with it

I completely agree. Seher being underage is hard but like how the creative are handling the story. Mahid isn't in favor of underage marriage not that is illegal but wants a girl to be of age first. I don't understand why his grandfather wants him married to a young and illiterate. Seher father is so useless he just wants his daughter married to influential and rich family. Freaking abusive Loser
Its not black. Its dark nevy blue. Watch carefully 🤦♀️

Couldn't agree more. I also fall in love with this show slowly slowly whereas in starting i wasn't interested.
Regarding Parth i think he is doing decent job and yes Mahid is very layerd and i was always curious about Mahid's reactions about different kind of scenarios. And yes people is complaining about that they are not comfortable with underage romance but thing is Mahid don't know that girl is under age so yes hero is not at fault here.
Now the girl playing Seher. God she is so pretty and very much talented than so many current ITV actresses. I hope this girl gets more good projects in future.
And yes this show is so much better than so many current ITV shows but again our trp aunties still stuck with kalesh and old ghisa pita ols storyline only and this show is getting low trps😞 and i think this week trps are drop as well. Hope it will run for good time🤞
well the nikkah happened but it doesn't look like the rukshati will happen. so we have a half married situation which sort of protects sehar from the likes of parvez but she is also vulnerable to mahid and his family.
while it was expected, am glad they didn't show kauser as willing in any shape. even when nikkah has happened, she is clear that she will not allow her daughter's life to be spoiled and so is still fighting.
sehar crying and feeling guilty that she didn't fight hard enough is so sad. it is like she failed an exam but the exam itself is life. so it will be interesting to see what happens this time as the previous running away attempts failed so badly.
dr fareed feels guilty for encouraging mahid to get married now that he found out the bride was sehar.
