More than Mannat, he needs to question Ronnie and Neetu. How could they leave him [abandon as you say] and not make him see reason ... they would have if they were truly his parents?

I don't expect a show to be morally right or inspire a change. It is a story with its own set up and pluses and minuses. This show has decided to make Mannat raise her Dua with the help of Dharya, who she has come to trust. It is this character's choice. And there is nothing wrong with the choice she made given her circumstances.

I still want to know why Ronnie didnt object... the clip is deliberately cut short. Episode main pata chalega.

Vik's "mere paas kuch nahin hai" Literally gives a input into his real feelings... When he says "uske paas sabh kuch hai toh, mere pass bhi yuvi hai".... he doesn't even consider vishaka or yashika as part of his life, not even as a second thought... Because no matter what even now the position of partner and parents in his life is still occupied by mannat and rotu and cannot be replaced and he knows it that's why even as a second thought he doesn't consider yash Or vish even though they are very actively present in his life... That's because they are just illusions he created for himself so that his real feelings doesn't come out, because if they come out he wants his family back which is not possible because they themselves left him...

Yes, from vik pov they left him and not other wise because he never intended to leave them forever, he thought they will take initiative to make things better or atleast will let vik make amends.... But by leaving the town they permanently broke relationship with him and never turned back, and this is the reason why he never searched them...

All this while we were confused why vik didn't search for them.... but now it's understandable because he felt they didn't want him in their life, so he felt abandoned, and might have felt they will not allow him in their life therefore never searched for rotu or mannat

From his pov though he is wrong,he didn't deserve to be left all alone like that.. for him even after everything the love they have between them could have acted as bridge to resolve issues between him and mannat/rotu....but instead of trying to make things all right they left which might have made him felt unloved, he might have been feeling if they loved him they would have stayed around him and made him realise his mistakes and forgive him... But them leaving him made him felt unwanted/unloved this might have made him feel all their love was just superficial/shallow, thats why yesterday he said to ronnie.."hamesa paraya samjha hai aapne",this is what he felt, he felt they never loved him enough that's why they left him overnight...

But the main reason they left was because they thought he abandoned his baby and CA mannat, and divorced her... this is pretty harsh for any person to forgive that's why mannat left, dhairya never had any place in vik's life so he left too.... and rotu know whatever they did is not that easy to be forgiven, and vik abandoning his baby, Ca mannat...this might have made them loose even the little hope that vik would forgive them, and they didn't want to push their way into his life and hurt him further...so they left too..... And vik doesn't know any of these if and when he knows then he will understand that they left after trying a lot, it's then when he might get over his abandonment issues

That's why I say more than anyone else vish is the master striker even more than ARS...the major strike was made by vish out of all the well planned schemes, murders of aish ...vish very simply created the MU regarding pregnancy, that she planned in a matter of seconds... And that turned out to be the biggest thing that seperated vik and his real family... without this mannat and rotu would have never left vik... Even after he ousted them, they went back to dhairya's house and were having light hearted moments...its the pregnancy MU which was the deal breaker

And the same is true for mannat too I guess.... If we see the flashbacks she majorly got after seeing vik at kite festival was how vik left her... She is projecting as if vik taking away dua is her fear, which might be true but that's just small bit of her fear... Her real fear is her attachment and love towards vik, the background song played during her breakdown literally says how her heart still longs for vik, how despite everything she holds vik so close to her heart and cant stay away from him when he is around her .... This is what she scares the most, because her heart still wants vik.. But her brain and the memories of how vik behaved with her makes her not want vik... this push and pull again spirals her down into dark phase which she cannot afford at this point because she is a mother now... She has to be strong for her daughter... So that's why she is escaping him.... She doesn't want to feel all these feelings.... She too is suppressing her real feelings and trying to put up a facade..

Yes yes yes but looks like writers are in mood to give any scenes which makes sense.

Then why show this cliche? I would've preferred Mannat giving her name to Dua. Just like Shruti gave her and raised her on her own without any male support in her life.

Malla toh bachha chor hai. Its proved already. Uska pov ka use nai hai consider karke. ARS might have managed to mention someone's name as father. We don't know that part yet. OR she might have completely changed Yuvi's details only or killed his parents...

Coming to why Mannat kept DK's name, I feel no one has the right to judge what a woman wants do in such a situation. IF she wants she can go ahead without a father's name or with father's name, its her choice.

Children born out of sexual abuse is a completely different case. Usme bhi I have seen 1000s of comments literally blaming the women of not keep the accuser's name which is inhuman & absurd..

Yes, we will know his viewpoint in the episode. But I seriously don't see what changes if Dharya is on the certificate as Dua's father. It is the present truth. Tomorrow's revelation will write a different truth.

Ek baat batao..why is everyone saying Dua is 7 years old..she is a 6 year old child. It was been said in one of the episodes, don't recollect which. Ek saal kyun badhate ho bacchi ka

I work in an educational institute and I can tell you that this is a policy with poor implementation .... in reality all the documents still need names of both parents.

funnier part is in admission forms in degree courses, they do ask your marital status but not a changed name (if any)... which indirectly indicates that married women (whose surname has changed) will have to do extra paperwork to get their intended name on the marksheets.

I know students who have struggled with this.
