I don't think Mannat's perspective is right either.

Mannat's lifeline is Dua. Vikrant represents loss of Dua to her and she cannot survive without Dua. I think it helps that DK is also good with Dua. Maybe that's why she has the constant monologue about DK being the baba to herself as well.

Why no-one thought to ask DK recuse himself from the case since it's his wife who is being accused. They all know DK as Mannat's husband right?
