Definitely ranveers film and he carried it for sure. And im a neutral viewer i do not have any favorites from bollywood or I do not prefer bollywood movies that much too. I do like ranveer and his credibility of acting although I do not like every movie of ranveer does/did. But he owned this movie

Like you I am the same. I actually didn’t even wanna watch this movie after seeing the teaser since violence and gore aren’t my cup of tea. Barring the violent scenes (I totally closed my eyes and ears off 😂), the movie is an excellent piece of cinema and perfectly executed that flew smooth like a butter from beginning till the end.

Akshaye ne yeh movie se bhot zyaada achha kaam kiya tha Chhava mein... Uske ek scene - jab woh sir ka taj nikalta hai - us ek scene mein hich theater ke ticket ka paisa vasool ho gaya tha.... Poora screen chaba gaya...

Dhurandhar mein merko above average lagaa, with a few moments of brilliance here and there....

All this forced Akshaye overshadowed PR attempt by Ranveer's rivals has also completely died down now, cause even that has failed in taking away the shine from Ranveer. Ranveer has regained audience love and respect with this film and hopefully he is able to retain it by staying low key and off the radar and only letting his work do the talking. Ranveer should focus on doing quality films, he will make them a success for sure like he always tends to and stay mum and away from media glare. Sky is the limit for him as is seen in Dhurandhar. No trolling or forced PR driven hate can stop him when he lets his talent explode on screen, this is why he is the biggest threat to the status quo of the industry and why vested rival interests try to keep pushing him down!!!

Akshay is a phenomenal actor, a natural and it's good to see people praising him, even if it’s just to deny Ranveer his well earned credit. No one would be going so overboard making 200 threads on the same topic otherwise. IMHO, it's a RS film where every character, not just Akshay, did their job perfectly.
