I have watched both these shows and when I think about them chills run through my spine. Specially Na Ana Iss Des Lado was terrifying but it's the sad truth. And, it wasn't just before but even now these things do happen and it's so sad.

Then there was the fact that the girl who had accused this guy of stalking, harassing and almost molesting her was suddenly consenting to marry him.

This was peak brain-rot era in that way. Bollywood too had movies where women married the guys who had assaulted them like Rani’s debut movie - Raja Ki Aayegi Baaraat and this old Anil Kapoor Juhi Chawla movie called Benaam Badshah. I was just glad they didn’t go down that route. Because that was even worse. There these girls were assaulted before they ended up marrying these guys. The marriage of course changes him into a good human being. Juhi dies at the end of her movie, Rani survives.

not just that actually Tulsi specially asks Nandani to make Ansh her friend. like why would any girl who has been molested by a man ever make the same person her friend... Even if he was reformed why would she ever befriend her and asking someone to do that is real torture on the girl...

Aside she saw Karan and Nandani together and then Nandani and Ansh together why would she think the latter is a couple despite knowing the history and not the former despite knowing how much they care. Not even once she thought about them

Savita actually knew Karan loves Nandani and yet decided to have Ansh and Nandani married. they were clearly being partial against Karan and yet had audacity to blame him

I was actually thinking Ekta will make Ansh Nandani the end game going by her past shows like Kutumbh and Kkoi Dil me hai where the FL started loving and continued her marriage with the ML husband after he r**ed her

thankfully this show went a different path

I mean karan Nandini actors came directly from kutumb right? No way she would separate them

Akashdeep didn't have that gentleness even if ansh was changed somehow

Chills, literal chills even when you narrate them. I can't imagine such incidents happened in real life for the shows to depict them. Also the shows were gutsy at that time..these days na story hai, na acting. The same old six and seven of two girls running behind a single guy, not like he's worth running behind also.

@bold: they didn't want to marry it seems. Sort of a live in, constant relationship without marriage. Normally you read in books about people being in a relationship for 10 yrs before getting married but 20 yrs is still surprising.

10 years too if they met in school college etc.very rare these kinda long relationship without any commitment during adult life

I remember thinking Dadisaa was the most terrifying woman I’ve seen onscreen ever because she was so realistic that you know that such women exist for real unlike a Ramola or Komolika. Then I saw Meghna’s character Ammaji and she made Dadisaa look like a saint, a practical angel.

They don't want to put efforts for anything. With the technology available, AI, so much stories could be brought to the fore-front but alas they want to stick to one genre and hope it works.
