Dua heard guddi, is it possible Vik and her teaming up to save Mannat and find actual culprit as Yuvi is involved too. Dua also turned out to be self-serving and Calculated ( unwillingly saying these words for a small girl who is supposed to be sensible and have a good upbringing from well mannered and good- natured parents😝); she didn't even share that Vik had saved her two times—once from the top of the bus and again from the thugs.She conveniently told everyone about his bashing of her parents, which any sane person would think about like that.The 'amazing duo,' Mumma and Baba, didn't even ask her how she traveled safely on top of the bus or how she was saved from the goons.

Adding to what you said... Mannat is the centre of everyone's life in Indore. She has to be an adult keeping her own pain hidden. She doesnt even have the time nor the bandwidth to wallow in her pain.

Theres RoTu to whom she is deeply attached... that bond is so nicely shown through Ronnie... they have truly accepted her as their daughter.

Theres Dua who is a lovely child but needs a proper parenting.

I dont mind DK as to me he is an obstacle for Vik to be in Duas life as her papa. But Mannat isn't leaning on him for her own pain. Inspite of him repeatedly asking her Mannat hasnt shared with him that she saw Vik in Mumbai with YY (presuming he has moved on... justifiable at this point).

Mannat is taking DKs support only for Dua... even RoTu dont consider him as their own in that sense. Thry too have rejected his offer of funds for Neetus surgery.

DK is just there... being a proxy for Vik. Mannat might assure him with his Baba jaap for Dua... but she doesnt share her own feelings with him.

Whereas for Dua he is an important person... but not like a parent. I see him only as a fun uncle... much like how Vik is with Yuvi. DK doesnt discipline Dua.

In Viks case he has hidden his pain well and is moving on autopilot. Everyone knows he is suffering but no one is bothered to address it. Y is using it for her benefit. The entire Indore sequence is very nicely developed for Vik. Adnan was brilliant in his range of emotions at Lohri fire.. and later hallucination. While Vik understands he has messed up, he has still not processed his role in it. The trust factor that Mannat spoke of repeatedly is going to come again when they faceoff and he meets Mannat.

His softening will happen through Neetu for sure. But the residual anger for Mannat will only thaw once the cremation day truth comes out.

His anger is one thing but his instinct is to save Mannat. That will matter as well.

So after seeing past few episodes and our discussion on it, here is my perspective of mannat and vikrant and why they are right or wrong in their actions... Don't know if writers think this deep while writing but this what I can perceive of what's shown....

Vik's pov.....

Vik has already realised that he was wrong in questioning mannat's loyalty (yesterday's hallucination of him and mezbani confession are instantances which prove it)...... But he is still angry on mannat that she didn't give him a chance to rectify his mistakes.... He knows his terrace confrontation of mannat is wrong but he feels with good apologies he deserves another chance and mannat didnt give him that and left him and their relationship over night.... Now if it was just terrace confrontation then mannat too would have given him another chance because the situation he was in was not normal, his entire identity and belief system is shattered in short duration.. So he is not being himself, he doesn't recognize himself or the people he loves around him... So understanding all these mannat too would have given him another chance.. But mannat gave upon their relationship after she felt Vik questioned her about her pregnancy and added to that sruti's death and divorce... And honestly if Vik actually questioned mannat regarding her pregnancy then no matter what situation he is in, he didn't deserve a chance... and mannat felt the exact same thing and walked away from their relationship.... And if and when Vik will get to know about this then he will know mannat didn't give up on their relationship that easily... that's when his abondment issues and insecurities will go away...

And coming to vik-yash relationship.....

Vik says he wants to forget mannat and is trying to move on etc... But all these are just talks... He neither tried to nor does he want to move on and Vik is not unaware of these feelings... He is very well aware that he is not trying to move on nor does he wants to... But he is suppressing these feelings because if he doesn't thenhe wants to be with mannat which is not possible according to him..because he feels mannat will not forgive him this time and that's why he is suppressing those feelings and convincing himself that he has to want to and is trying to move on.... All his talks and words at this point are just shallow,he literally said that he doesn't want to meet mannat but once he saw her he owes to meet her.... This is literal proof that his talks are all shallow made to suppress his real feelings but once he saw mannat he was no longer able to suppress those feelings and wants to meet her ...just like that him saying he is trying to move on from mannat are shallow too... He neither is trying nor is wanting to move in real sense..

That's where the problems lies , with yuvi he still does share a real bond... But with yashika it's all a facade she is just a figament to reassure him of his superficial beliefs that he is trying to move on, that's why he doesn't mostly stop yashika from anything, because if he stops it means he is letting his true feelings take over which he is trying hard to suppress..so mechanically he doesn't mostly object yash for anything...and yashika is a genuine person according to him,so to utilize her like this without letting her know his true feelings would be wrong.... But if at all he is clear with yashika since the start that he is not promising marriage or love to her.. Nor does he promise her of moving on and all that he is doing is trying to move on and that there is chance that he couldn't move on , and she could leave if she is not okay with this... If he is clear with her this way then he isn't wrong and if and when Vik realises and accepts completely that he doesn't want to move on and walks away from yash.. Then he wouldn't be wrong and yashika has no right to question him...

And seeing how Vik behaves around her where he doesn't hide away his feelings , and yash saying she understands Vik situation..all these does seem like he has already made yash clear regarding his stance... So i guess Vik is not obliged to yash in any way

In his hearts of heart he believes her innocence in Gola khaand like kids poisoning case but to be seen how It's presented to him..

I am seeing reams of analysis being written on Vikrant’s trauma. Because of which he let yuvi into his life. Then in an attempt to move on he also has willingly got into a relationship with Yashika. I would be very surprised if he hesitates to marry her when she proposes.

Can someone also write about Mannat’s trauma the same way? We have seen it, we have understood it but has anyone articulated it? Maybe because she is the FL and her lot is to suffer !!

I seem to be the only one vociferously supporting the FL. And that usually happens in all my shows. Guess I can’t stand women suffering endlessly. I know there actually maybe such women in the real world who do,which is why makers love rubbing that in.

Mannat’s life has been cursed from the beginning. Having a mother like ARS is the worst curse.

I got traumatised just seeing the endless wedding day & Shruti’s murder. Imagine having to go thru it. There is no wonder why she is so badly traumatised. She lost a lot in one day. She is holding on to sanity thru Dua and losing her might truly break her spirit & make her like Neetu-unresponsive & almost a vegetable.

Vikrant is angry. Not for being manipulated but because he didnt get what he wished. Vikrant is where he is bcos of his own actions & yes lies from Rotu the most. Bcos of Adnan I at least watch the BTS. Warna in all the shows I have watched, he has the least amount (read: zero) of growth.

Just saw the BTS just now of Vikrant seeing ManRya & Dua as a family. We all know how that will end.

mannat is wrong in hiding the fact but mannat did apologize to vik.... And that's what anyone can do... Once they realised their mistake all they can do is to apologize and make amends and mannat tried to do it...she did support dk and rotu but that's because mannat knows entire truth which vik doesn't,now if mannat supported vik against dk/rotu then she would be doing the same mistake again by hiding the entire truth, that's why she wanted vik to know entire truth before he could react ..she tried to address his insecurities too,even after he alleged her of doing all these for money, she tried to explain him the situation, even after he questioned her loyalty she kept saying she is supporting dk because he is vik's brother and a victim of vish too....but vik was not in a position to listen...She was ready to face vik's anger towards this situation for her whole life.... She even understood his allegarions on terrace and tried to give another chance to their relationship... But the misunderstanding regarding pregnancy is what the deal breaker was...

Imagine mannat's situation where she does feel guilty for her mistake.. But instead of dealing with this situation of one white lie..one's partner alleges that she had illict affair with his brother(she thinks vik accused her of being pregnant with dk's child) ... Such kind of allegations are too harsh to get over be it for a women or men... No matter the situation, condition. .it basically takes away the essence of relationship... And this is where her trauma comes from...

And mannat too is doing the same thing as vik.... All her words are shallow too... She is just using them to suppress her real feelings.. Her imagining vik and her being happy and dancing together, literally proves she still holds vik close to her heart..but Mannat fearing vik is because she saw vik doing things which she never thought he could do... So she fears the worst even though it doesn't make sense, like her fear that vik will destroy her life, take away dua etc...

And according to mannat and dhairya relationship... Mannat being in fake relationship with dhairya isn't weak... She is ready to face all the allegarions of society for herself but what about dua ,she is a child she cannot take all these..just to prove herself strong mannat cannot expect same strength from a child and put her in spotlight...Most of the single mothers today are open about their status that they are divorced, seperated, partner died or betrayed...so they won't get any allegations and even if they get such allegation they are in a position to defend themselves and also teach their children to be strong and answer back... But with mannat the situation is complicated she herself cannot answer nor can she make dua answer...because if she says she is divorced or sepearted then dua would want to meet vik which vik won't accept according to mannat and dua might have abandonment issues.. Mannat cannot say dua's father is dead, mannat cannot say her partner betrayed her because mannat herself is still not able to complety accept it...her heart still doesn't want to belive vik did all of that...so for sake of dua she is in fake relationship with dhairya and as far as society they are any way goona question anything and everything if they want to... As far as things and intentions are clear between her and dhairya she shouldn't worry. . . The best alternative in such situation would be to actually marry someone else either for real Or through a compromise.. But mannat is not yet ready to move on therefore this fake marriage scenario.....

And as far as mannat not wanting to tell dua her birth truth I guess when ever mannat says she doesn't want dua to know vik's truth ever, I feel she is just talking about near future or in trauma and she doesn't really intends to hide it for real for too long, she did say to ronnie she will say the truth to dua once she is old enough, so I guess that is her true stance... All other instances are just her saying things in trauma, or considering near future

I kind of feel as people mannat and vik are two good individuals but with their respective flaws, but in relationship mannat had given her 100% , even when she made mistake she tries to rectify, and time and again forgave vik for his mistakes.. Understood his weakness of anger and proofs... But all these came down crashing one by one until she had nothing left in her to give in that relationship and then she walked away by respecting vik's decision of breakup.... Where vik too is not that wrong in their relationship.. He does immensely love,respect, trust and understand mannat but all these take backseat when he gets angry, impulsive.. This is the only thing that he has to change, and he was forgiven by mannat time and again for these mistakes of his but her never changed.... Him being flawed is not the issue.. Him not working on these flaws is the issue..

She hinted at in yesterday's episode... till now she was avoiding the question... and She has not clearly said it even now ... what I mean is Mannat doesnt consider DK for her own support.

Is not free enough to share how she feels. When they chat and vent about it... she never shares how she feels for herself ... her pain and worry is only for how it will look and affect Dua.

Mannat hasnt leaned on DK the way Y is showing everyone Vik has on her.
