Yes, Nandini definitely had a lot of stressful days after the assault and they never had her or even Tulsi for that matter think of taking emergency contraceptives post the incident. The shock was too much for them to think.

So it’s not surprising if she didn’t really think about the fact that she skipped periods for at least 3 months after the attack.

Regarding Karan’s reaction - frankly it’s realistic. Finding out the person you’re in love with is having a child with someone else is not easy, even if the child in question is unwanted by even your lover.
