Mannat was on the right until she kept persuading RoTu to reveal the truth to Vikrant since it wasn't her truth to tell or not tell. Where she made a mistake was when she decided to jump into the mess and support RoTu and DK in hiding the truth from Vikrant by threatening criminals like Vish and Malla.

Vikrant was right on that fateful day until he decided to believe a picture and CA Mannat inspite of him being aware of the secret wedding and still had such a low opinion of Mannat.

@Shazia when the episodes aired even I kept wondering and made posts why was Vikrant not forgiving Mannat in spite of her begging for forgiveness repeatedly. But, now after seeing post leap episodes I understood why , it was because Mannat was asking for forgiveness for lying not that she was wrong in doing so and not that she was wrong in defending RoTu and DK which was what confused Vikrant. Why was Mannat supporting Neetu who drugged him, why was DK more important to her than him, why was she supporting RoTu who kidnapped him. For Vikrant after many times not trusting Mannat, he finally may have trusted her , but had came crashing down when Mannat herself accepted she lied.

I remember Moor made a comment long back Vikrant's reaction was because of his partial memories which were back and for him that was the truth. I didn't understand the impact then because I as a viewer was sympathetic to Mannat who knew she was pregnant and was going to lose Shurti soon. But post leap I understand now after seeing Vikrant flipping back and forth between wanting to see Mannat crying and then pining for her, having a gf , unable to connect with them but at the same time going along with anything they say or ask him to do. He is functioning to the best of his ability by bitching about Mannat as time permits, throwing tantrums about being wealthy and spoiling UV.

Mannat on the other hand due to CA, being pregnant losing Shurti all in 1 day is scared of Vikrant and what he might bring into their lives again. I understand this and her priority should be Dua and only Dua. At the same time I do not approve of her lies to Dua, I would have atleast approved if they showed her talking to herself or DK it was wrong to lie to Dua. But, the narrative being shown is Mannat believes what she did pre leap was right and only wrong party was Vikrant and even now she believes she is right in lying to Dua. Just like Vikrant there is a lot of learning Mannat has to do.

I know we have spoken so much about Mannat's trauma so won't repeat all of that again. I highlighted Vikrant's trauma since we were all (including me 🙈) focused on highliting how wrong Vikrant is/was during wedding episodes.

Exactly the point I was trying to make Vikrant and Mannat are different facing different situations, scenarios and being influenced differently so their reaction to situations and lies would be different. Mannat though was hurt with Shurti's lie she quickly focused on how to save Shurti, Vikrant when he found out the lie, there was nothing for him to focus on other than the fact he got partial memories back and found out Neetu was also drugging him and Mannat was supporting them instead of standing by him.

@shazia I will make a anti Vikrant post hopefully by next week since he is getting ready to blast soon and tag you 🤣

Bold - ah yes I see your distinction in apologising for lying to him rather than accepting that it was wrong to support Neetu snatching and drugging him, both wrong actions done to him. Praising DK at that time was bizarre and to allow MU/CA and post leap Indore set up, so different issue.

Pink - very true, Mannat isn’t even shown to even weigh up the damage her lies will cause Dua, just deciding with DK not to tell Dua. This may be from her projecting her own bio circumstances and anxiety onto Dua’s case.

Blue - yes agree the narrative is largely focussing on Vikrant’s wrong doing pre and post leap, I’ve got caught up with that too. Both definitely have a lot of reflection and learning to do, and Vikrant’s state of confusion and hole he’s dug himself into will take more to climb out of. Dua has forced Mannat to evaluate what her priority given what she believes is true.

We can swap ships again next week 😂 I might have to jump in to try to defend Vikrant’s stupidity

Purple... I will still say she is justified in doing this since Dua is a mere 7 year old whereas neither Vik nor Mannat could handle it inspite of being adults ... moreover while Mannat was ready to hide it initially... she has agreed to reveal it to Dua later when Ronnie pointed out the mistake.

2 things which brought me to this conclusion 1) Mannat's dialogues to DK yesterday about how Vikrant destroys everything around him whom he loves and who loves , until then I was hoping Mannat understands her mistake in this whole fiasco. 2) making a pact about how DK will always be the father and she will never ever tell Dua who her real father is.

Lets say Mannat is right in lying to Dua the 7 year old who may not understand all the grown up details. But is it right on her part again being so confident about repeating the same mistake and wanting to lie to Dua for her entire life? This is where I lost her completely.

Ronnie part , was gald he didn't really give them an option and put his foot down. I am also glad Ronnie walked in on them so we got to see atleast Ronnie's perspective and that he has learnt from his mistakes.

You rightly understood vik's pov, it is clear that he is hurt that mannat supported the ones who betrayed him... From his perspective mannat is wrong in supporting dk and rotu because vikrant thinks they are the one's who are wrong and mannat is taking side of wrong people instead of supporting him....

But from a neutral or audience perspective ..would it be right if she hid the other half of the truth from vikrant and sided with him and not supported rotu...Now let's say mannat didn't support dk or rotu and sided with vik.. this would have made vik get neetu arrested, expelled dk and rotu... And if mannat supported him during all this then when once the truth comes out wouldn't vik blast at mannat then that he doesn't know the truth so he did mistake by punishing rotu and dk ...and mannat despite knowing the truth didn't stop him and make him realise the truth....

Despite all the allegations vik put on mannat,mannat understood vik's situation and repeatedly tried to make him understand that she is not behind his money, she has no feelings for dk and the only reason she is supporting rotu is because vik is making a mistake of trusting vish over rotu... And the reason she is supporting dk is because it's his brother and he is misunderstanding him..

As of now from vik's perspective Rotu and dk are still wrong thats why vik feels mannat is wrong in supporting them.... But once he gets to know the truth he himself will be thankful to mannat that she tried to talk sense to him and took over the responsibility of taking care of his family all this while... So from my pov I dont think there is anything more mannat has to realise post leap... her mistake of hiding the fact from vik is realised by her in the preleap itself.. and she did everything she could to amend her mistake and was not successful, so she too left hope in that relationship

And as far as lying to dua.. I think that's the better way to deal with the situation, generally telling the entire birth truth to children is advisable.. But when the truth is this complex one should atleast wait til the child is in teens to reveal the truth.... Dua is hardly 6-7 she might not even understand exactly what a husband wife are, how babies are born and all that... how can she possibly understand or handle such complex situation of mannat and vik..ya mannat would be wrong if she actually tries to hide dua's birth truth from her all her life... But I think when mannat says she never wants dua to know about vik.. She just is speaking of near future I guess...
