Rahi knows that mummy kabhi bhi usko ditch kar sakti hai. She has so much experience with mummy's TamaShah prem. Better to stay with in-laws who provide her everything in platter and do time to time token mummy praising. Really smart move.

Na na. Prem, her husband is always on Onupama Mummy's side. The doomed side. Someone’s hit to provide for them, for none of them have a stable source of income but inke shauque alag level ke hn.

So, as kamaal mentioned. She'll stay on Kotharis to be able to emotionally blackmail them onto providing.

It is now obvious that Prarthna’s unborn child is being pushed into the same broken upbringing shaped by Upmaa and the Tamashahs. I could not help but laugh when Upmaa confidently declared that Gautam failed as a husband and will also fail as a father. Before handing out such certificates, she should first look at her own beloved son, Doshu—a man who failed as a son, a husband, and a father, yet was never truly questioned, corrected, or disowned in any meaningful way.

Upmaa’s belief that Ansh—a man who has shown no capability, stability, or achievement—will suddenly become a responsible caregiver is not hope; it is denial. Prarthna would have been far better off without marrying Ansh. After divorcing an abusive man like Gautam, she had a rare opportunity to rebuild her life, stand on her own feet, and build a career. She chose not to.

More importantly, Prarthna even had the option to place her unborn child in an orphanage and give the child a clean slate—free from this cycle of failure and dependence. That choice, too, was ignored. Instead of breaking the pattern, she walked straight back into it.

PS: It would be refreshing if Pan Parag finally drew a firm line and cut ties with Phaltu Prem and Raja—men who have survived comfortably for years by feeding off Kothari wealth. This correction was long overdue and should have happened much earlier, when Phaltu Prem married Choti Upmaa and Nikamma Raja married Pari, relationships that added nothing except further liability.

Zindagi Jhandwaa phir bhi ghmandwaa

Parag should just let Prarthana go. She's another Krinju baby in the making, who is still crying over choosing loser Toshu. Give it a few years, Prarthana will do the same. Kotharis should save themselves from such ungrateful brats, just like Rakhi Dave did.

As if Kotharis are mahan? they themselves are hypocrite and shamelessly giving shelter to their ex damad who used to beat their daughter, shahs are bad but kotharis are even worse
