No one is better in this show. Acc. to Anupamaa's own logic, no matter how bad a person is, they are still allowed to be parents. She claimed Vanaraj Shah is a good father. And she manipulated Kinjal using Pari's name to give her cheating scum of a son a second chance. So if the FL of this show can keep serving her abusive manipulative ex in-laws for years, then how are Kotharis wrong in supporting their ex-damad? They are simply following mahaan Anupamaa's path. Neither Kotharis nor Gautam are good. But if Shahs can get all the support in the world after their actions, then so can every other character.

What irritates me the most is that Upmaa keeps delivering pointless lectures despite being a failure in both her personal and professional life. One can still give her the benefit of doubt for the collapse of her first marriage with Vanar. But what excuse exists for the failure of her second marriage?

It is true that Trashnuj was desperate to marry Upmaa. Even so, a second marriage is meant to be a second chance—a chance to learn, reset, and move forward. Upmaa completely wasted that opportunity. She should never have married Trashnuj while remaining emotionally tied to the trashy Tamashahs. That marriage was doomed from the start.

In her personal life, Upmaa failed as a mother in both marriages. As for her professional life, the less said, the better—it speaks for itself.

PS: In this so-called women-empowerment show, only Maya (Rahi’s biological mother) and Rakhi Dave (my favourite character) truly stand out as strong, independent women. The rest is just noise. Upmaa and her endless lectures have become unbearable.

Kotharis (or atleast Parag) realised their mistake and course corrected as well.

Atleast Gautam is under watch and his movements were restricted, had Anss and Prem risen upto the occasion, his influence on the business too would have been limited. But every single one of them (except Vasundhara and Parag, ofcourse) want Kothari Empire to fund their dreams, their ventures without lifting a finger to re-build/run it.

Pathetic.

On the other hand, despite the number of kaand every single Shah including Anss (who fell for a gaming company to sponsor him without verifying the source, was ready to hide his surname just to get a lever), what has any Shah done to course correct? NOTHING.

Barkha hitting sixers!! Unhone uska jeena haram karke rakha tha phir bhi she'll support them to the ends of the world. Kabhi kabhi Stockholm syndrome lagta hai. But then since she's as much as a hypocrite, I think not.

She never gave even 1% commitment to Anuj and Chotti Anu of what she had for Shameless Shahs.

OK, what choice do they have? Sab ne hi toh bhaag ke shaadi karli. Isi Maahi ne Aryan se bhaag kar mandir me shaadi kar li woh bhi Onupama ke samne, kya kar liya Onupama ne?

Iss show me kis "beta/beti" ki shaadi raazi-khushi hui hn? Mann maarke shaadi karwaye toh sahi, nahin toh bhaagkar shaadi karlenge.

Secondly about why is Maahi or Gautam still in Kothari Mansion, the same reason why Onupama continues to stay at Shah Hauj.

Parag ne aisa kya kar diya jo use bura insaan, bura businessman banaye? Flashbacks me Kotharis khud batate hn kaise Parag ke chacha ne unse unka sab kuch cheen liya tha aur Vasundhara ne apne bade bete Parag ko groom kiya aur itna bada Empire khada kiya woh bhi zameen se uthkar, tinka-tinka jod kar.

Parag should just let Prarthana go. She's another Krinju baby in the making, who is still crying over choosing loser Toshu. Give it a few years, Prarthana will do the same. Kotharis should save themselves from such ungrateful brats, just like Rakhi Dave did.

Rakhi Dave is my favourite character and easily the best mother in this otherwise mediocre show, even though I started watching it much later. Rakhi Dave’s journey has genuinely been inspiring. While Upmaa kept delivering endless lectures on women empowerment, Rakhi Dave showed empowerment through her actions. If Upmaa had learned even basic parenting from Rakhi Dave, Doshu, Samar, and Makhi would have been presented as role models for society.
