If Anu is RN look alike, wouldn’t office ki maa notice that and have a reaction?

Anu is not RN look alike she's her reincarnation, face same hota toh Arya pehchan jata na

I havent seen the OG as I dont like Subodh Bhave as much as I love Sharad Kelkar . I am only watching this for him 😍

@Blue - Everyone will be in same halat smiley36

SB was believable in negative role in OG. So I didn't mind much when they turned him negative. I rather liked the change in Isha/Anu, from docile to confident.

SK too is good in negative roles. But isme romantic rehne de toh hi achcha hain. At least bichari Anu ke liye. Confession aur proposal ke liye she has waited for almost 200 episodes. Itna wait karne ke baad negative nikla toh it will be a tragedy smiley37

Idk when was the last time I was this irritated with a character but Meera really gets on my nerves for some reason. Like even in the Marathi version Meera tried to sabotage their relationship but she was never this desperate or foolish for those matters. Anu is young and frankly pretty immature but even she showed so much dignity and self respect during the track last week when she thought RN was alive but Meera is just irritating. It’s just so hard to believe that someone so educated and talented can be this foolish and crazy and that too behind a man who didn’t even notice her for more than 10 years. This time she is going to give Sharma ji a heart attack ( which I don’t really mind cause he too is a character that irritates me for some reason particularly his behaviour with anu it comes off as conservative and some times even mysogynistic. It feels like he wants to control Anu rather than raise her)

Think of it like this:

- a father want to protect his daughter from living alone in different city. (When he refused her transfer to the other branch)

- a father who want to give his daughter to someone worthy. Who will live long with her. And take her responsibility for long (this is why he want to merry her to man in similar os slightly older one. Instead of old aged man full of health problems).

---

As for meera there worst characters in jhanak and yrkkh 🤣. I only watched 4 serials. And meera is the least toxic negative character I saw in all of them. 🤣

And remember. Love and jealousy make people blind and do stupid irrational things.🤣

While you are right about a father being concerned for his daughter, there should be some limit to interfering in her life. Like stopping her from going to London for work because log kya kahenge. He treated Arya like a school principal, going directly and asking him not to send Anu to London.

He even directly called Meera once asking what was happening in Anu's life as he felt Anu was not telling him something. That was so cringe.

He doesn't stop there. He has this need to know every single thing she does, every single movement she makes, who called her, why she's smiling, what's in the parcel she has, where she is going and yesterday - the lipstick thing...like why? First of all they live in a tiny house with no privacy. Then all this constant why, what, who, where is so suffocating.

His reaction to seeing Anu in the party gown was also so irritating.

When he found out from Meera about the accusations on Anu, he went and locked himself in their house, leaving his wife and daughter to fend for themselves. A real concerned father should have had faith in his own daughter and stood by her.

Now emotional drama will start as he has found out about Anu and Arya. So not looking forward to it.

Agree 100%

A father wanting the best for his daughter is one thing and being a controlling mysoginist ( what Gopal is) is another thing.

If Pushpa didnt say what she said, he was very angry at Anu for wearing the lovely western gown !

This right here is what I meant.

Couldn’t have put it in better words myself.

Gopal is someone who wraps oppression under the guise of protection.

Also the hurry he had to marry his daughter to Neel without even asking her permission for HER marriage.

And now he has had An heart attack cause he saw her hugging her boss. I get it any father would be furious at his daughter for getting into a relationship with an older man and then hiding it from him as well but I just know that even after recovering he is going to have a dramatic reaction to all of this. And instead of treating his daughter like an independent and consenting Adult he is going to treat her like a school going girl who has ended up having An affair with her teacher and is going to force her to marry the new entry
