Aarti was shown nice initially, later she was diagnosed as having fertility issues. That affects her very much as you can imagine.

She gets attached to Gautam very much and her growing attachment with Gautam combined with her fertility issues make Baa and Savita request Tulsi and Mihir to let them adopt him as Tulsi had by then conceived Shobha or already had her. Mihir is initially incredibly furious but ultimately concedes.

But Aarti is insecure about having Gautam growing up around his biological parents. So secretly she and Kiran plan and one day sneak away with Gautam. They had legally adopted him and so no legal action could be taken against them.

They turn up post leap as a divorced couple and we are never given any reason why they split beyond their constant arguments that also traumatised Gautam and Karishma. Post their divorce, Gautam’s custody is granted to Kiran iirc and Karishma is with her mom but it could be the other way around too. Regardless of that they are awful parents and are not even aware that these two land up in India until AFTER they the fact.

Also the show went on for 8 years… I don’t think anyone has ever counted how many episodes a particular character has appeared in. Kinda crazy to even think about it.

Karishma is shown as a production assistant or something later on for a prestigious production house. The owner is a man who happens to be older than her by at least a decade or so, and they fall in love. He’s a Bengali guy iirc. In this season there was a single line about her having a son now, we never saw them obviously.

After seeing the family tree and relationship status, it’s no wonder 60+ guy has girlfriend along with 44 years wife🤣.

Rithik is married to Mithali now, but probably marry Munni and adopt Tymsy.
Pari is already married twice, but RV will be gone too. Shaadi No 3 bhi hoga

Only Angad and Vrinda probably live like Hemanth and Pooja ( can’t compare them to Mihir & Tulsi)

Parth and Dev will fighting for Vaishnavi ( like Karan/Nandi I/Ansh) and marry/divorce/marry again??
And if they introduce any more younger generation characters, better quit watching 🤭

Normal families koi ek hi aise hota hai wo bhi badi mushkil se aise cases hote hai. Yha pe to line lagi hai, and weird is ladies marrying two brothers of the same family or in love with them after marrying some other. 😡😡. Disgusting.

Really insane, and now we have to believe that this is a sanskari family?? 🙄c

Except Baa, Govardhan, Savita, Mansukh, Daksha n husband, hemant,Tulsi everyone else is married multiple times. 🙄🙄.

And probably this family is hail n healthy till today bcoz of the above said people.🙄😡😎😃

This show has sustained for long 8yrs, only due to good actors and Tulsi's strong character along with baa.
