It’s not only about SA it went downhill once they gave undue importance to Ruq everywhere bringing her in every other scene and also making Jodha a doormat and dumb in the process she should be the initial Jodha who valued her dignity higher than anything.
The fact that they turned Jodha into a dumb and a doormat only makes matters worse. In the end, there was nothing left of the fiery, courageous Rajput princess. It was really embarrassing to watch at times.
The goal in S1 was from enemies to lovers. The audience was eagerly awaiting the moment when they would finally get together. After that, the story was told.
What should S2's goal be?
Don't get me wrong, and as much as I would love to see them both on screen as JJ, I think S2 would just be a pale imitation.
