But Dibya….you seem to be saying that Leena set out to say all these in her narrative but where did the narrative go about making this effort in S1 - showing a man have Technicolor flashbacks about his passionate night and then saying when did we do this? Is that a spineless man or a deranged writer? I would have still accepted if they had shown Ani reticent throughout which he wasn’t… he was all about Jhanak
So if a writer exploits th narrative to spin a love story and then abandons it without explaining why… the protagonist had a change of heart why should I accept it? I say this again… Leena knew that no one will be interested in any character that is this stupid so she made Ani a mad loverboy and then conveniently turned him to an amnesiac for thwarting the path…also if she was interested in any character she would have given Arshi some redeeming qualities or her titular some spine. She just was looking for ways to continue the farce and the zombie audience played into her hands
it’s not about the story the writer wants to say cos there may always be takers for different perspectives…. If Leena wanted to say that Ani was spineless… she would have said it and believe me most of us in this forum wouldn’t have invested in the story cos usually people like to see a story progressing in some form…not invest in a status quo
