But, to me that doesn't absolve him of his responsibilities. Once his mother left, he could have taken up some responsibility. He could have taken a stand. Although I do understand what made him get all bitter, I feel that had he sat down and done some self reflection, he would have gotten out of this mess. Out of the 3 Virani Gen z kids, he looks the most human to me. Whatever he did/does is something I understand but cannot root for.

Hritik is actually a manchild like you had mentioned earlier. We cannot justify his behavior. But he is realistic. What I liked is, usually in TV shows, playboys are usually referred as manchild or someone with rude and obnoxious behavior. But in this show, they have shown a soft guy like Hritik as a manchild which is good. Because manchild is a man who cannot fulfill his responsibilities and is dependent on others to save him. So due to ITV and movies, manchild is looked down as some mockery as it is associated to playboys. It's not always the man has to be a playboy or something. Most of the MLs (either soft or rude) are manchild in one way or other as they are dependent on FLs to solve their problems (and media glorify that). But here, they try to show the manchild behavior and in future, he may become independent.

Mihir and Mitali are fully responsible for Hrithik's suicide attempt. First Mihir forced Hrithik to join the business. When Angad left, he put more pressure on Hrithik, didn't guide him properly on how to run a business. Then Mihir brought Noyona and Mitali in SN and they made Hrithik's life miserable. Mitali's constantly calling Hrithik loser is so irritating. What has she done for business apart from doing gossip and stealing other's work? Hrithik couldn't take the pressure and humiliation from all the sides and took the drastic step.Earlier also Mihir used to blame Tulsi if their children took wrong steps. Now also he is doing the same thing. But atleast Tulsi is giving him back now.
