Possibly they casted her because of lokah, but it also depends on what her role is in the movie, and who knows, maybe she will improve in her acting with this film

I am presuming she was cast mainly for having good action potential also if the book she liked is a hint, she may be playing a blind character which I think she will do well given her limited range.

7 years is not big gap in movies. even srk kajol must be 7 yrs different. hmm checked google again he is 9 yrs older.

would be very interesting if she is playing a blind character, having a blind character trying to survive in a zombie movie adds a lot more layers to the story

Hopefully she can act, lokah did not shown much
